On the Outside looking in
I always felt apart from humans never understanding them and some of their destructive hurtful natures. Years of interacting with them have left me even in this lifetime quiet shy and standoffish. My mother and I used to joke when i was younger that we were not human instead we were homosapian sapian. A home no matter how nice was never as welcome to me as a forest glade where I would spend hours no matter the season.
Long have i believed in fairy's and other things good and bad and seen them with my own eyes. If ghosts and monsters exists so should the more beautiful things. In my short life I have met all sorts of people and creatures from all walks of life. Most pass them selves off as human as most of us do.The thought was better to pretend to be something we are not then to end up as a lab experiment for some "scientific curiosity."
I am a healer like the one who came before though cause I do not wear the sign of their god my gift is often shunned as something evil. Among my friends I serve as a healer, listening and guide to the world of magic. I know I do not know or remember everything but things come as naturally as breathing to me. I clothes my eyes and i can feel the earth breathe under my feet. She is sick but still strong.
As we near the dawn of a new age the beings of yore are coming back often hiding in plain sight. Some ready to fight some only wanting peace and acceptance. I myself I am a watcher... if it comes down to a fight i can not take sides but i will help those I can who are hurt on both sides.
I suspect we of elven nature will be the peace makers and go betweens when the time comes... I agree with the statement made by Prince Nuada in Hellboy two. Humans are hallow creatures always wanting more and more. However I can fault them no more then I can the Puma for attacking a deer for it is both in their nature. All i do is try and teach what little I can to those who will listen. So for now I will sit out on the edges and watch, sit on the outside looking in.

I feel you and totally agree in every way, these have been my experiences as well. The elven are returning now to bring harmony and we are the Elven. I found myself in so much pain until I began to receive/allow the listening/ allow the rebalancing in me i am a single thread in worldwide fabric of life that connects to all the other threads
Multi Dimensional Reality
