Hollywood's vision of Elves

Obviously Hollywood has it's own interpretation of the Elven world. I wonder if in fact Gene Rodenberry fashioned both the Vulcans and the Romulans as space fairing off shoots of the Elven world? I guess my question here is how do you all feel about how the Elven world has been portrayed in fictional literature and in film? Unfortunately this is where most of my knowledge, and I would bet most peoples knowledge, about your world, and way of life, actually comes from. Which is sad because it's mostly based on Myth, or is it?

Actually despite the look I don't think that Vulkans are resembling elves, rather positive reptilians, as they are emotionless culture, yet very honorable, and trustworthy.

I do not think I know about any elven tribe that would have reflection in Romulans. They seem rather like humans.

But if you want to see hat I think reflects elven tribes, you might try this episodes of Voyager: S2e9 - Tattoo and S3e7 - Sacred ground

Humans do not know much about elves in general, even less about their culture and spirituality. So the really reflecting things are very few.

But yet, even with limited understanding of Elves many humans feel a link to the Eleven world? Is there such a place as a Middle Earth, or a Middle Earth Dimension?

Well, I do have experience with Vala Melkor, so there might be elven lands. Elves were known to the vikings and Celts, who had possibly contacts with other worlds, so elves might be existing quite fine somewhere in the galaxy. Some believe that they used to live here on Earth, but left (or were forced to leave)
