It is not necessary to say everything word for word... A look says a thousand words to the one who understands the look...

The Indian Bullfrog male, during the monsoon mating season, turns from drab green to yellow in color and their vocal sacks turn blue. Their loud bellows and changed appearance are key in attracting females.

This is how long the neck of some subspecies of the Galápagos tortoise can be!

The Galápagos tortoise or Galápagos giant tortoise (Chelonoidis niger) is a species of very large tortoise in the genus Chelonoidis, native to seven of the Galápagos Islands. It is the largest living species of tortoise, with some modern tortoises having a weight of up to 417 kg (919 lb). The Galápagos tortoise is one of the longest-lived vertebrates, with a lifespan of over 100 years in the wild and up to 177 years in captivity.

Their shell size and shape vary between subspecies and populations. Tortoises residing on islands with humid highlands are larger, and have domed shells and short necks, while those inhabiting islands with dry lowlands are smaller, with "saddleback" shells and long necks.

Sure thing. It is only about what you consider funny. And here on Earth there is a lot of fun and fascination. Found this cool document thanks to Vlada. (Love the flamingos)

No, your brain hasn't broken and no your eye sight isnt seeing double, this little animal doesn't have any serious illness. Yes, it is just a dik dik, a species of small antelope, in which genetics has worked with a slightly more unusual brush

Dik diks have glands located under their eyes, which produce odorous substances to mark their territory. In this specimen they are, due to a play of colors and sizes, completely similar to the eyes, so that it seems that the little animal has two pairs of them.

Compared to photos of women with make-up before getting on camera. I still find this photo worthwhile. It was so plain and simple that I couldn't look directly at it and was curious to see it better, crumbs on her lips n all. And yes thats a baby pet marmoset or tamarin monkey on her head - the Indigenous Awã community of Juriti, in the Brazilian state of Maranhão.

Isnt it so cute..and so natural to her tribe, they probably dont have dogs or cats,so this is the alternative to them as a domesticated pet..

  • Ametrine -(MHZ)

yes, even kids have pets like this in this tribe. I feel that it might be something like a Totem, a protector.

  • ënagualí~ᏉLAᗪἇ ኔጡ።

I would have to agree with you, would be cool if we could have them also,I'd love one, but only if its been abandoned or rescued and is a genuine orphan and not a created one...but they are but not allowed in this country sadly..only in the zoo..

  • Ametrine -(MHZ)

A camel's hump does not hold water. It actually stores fat. The camel uses it as nourishment when food is scarce. If a camel uses the fat inside the hump, the hump will become limp and droop down. With proper food and rest, the hump will return to normal.

  • ënagualí~ᏉLAᗪἇ ኔጡ።

In Italy, donkey nannies are used to transport newborn lambs from high pastures down to the plains. Since the lambs are unable to make this journey on their own, they are placed in specially made pouches on the back of a donkey or a mule nanny. They are then returned to their mothers. How adorable this is..

Red deer are the largest of our native mammals having migrated to Britain from Europe over 11,000 years ago.

Due to vast scale deforestation and overhunting the red deer population was once confined to the Scottish Highlands and ‘the Deer Parks’ of England. In recent times the population has recovered considerably and without any natural predators to keep the population down, they have become so abundant they are considered pests in some regions.

October ’til early November is the best time of year to watch our British deer as they participate in the rut, with the stags engaging in fierce and often fatal battles to exert their right to mate with the hinds.

You can find more on Red Deer here.

The Red Deer is the largest UK deer and it is found all over the UK.

The Highlands of Scotland is home to some of the largest herds.  The males have impressive antlers which get larger as they grow older.

Although they usually roam through remote highland estates, in the winter time, if the weather is bad, they will often be seen closer to the road.
