Dear Marianne, Thank you for your wonderful introduction! It is such a pleasure to meet you here. Could you please put some of your paintings up on the site for everyone to see? Would you like a blessing from the Light Elven?
Wow, what a wonderful surprise - I went to my page and saw a beautiful faerie image from you! I don't know how you found that (you clever girl) but it is absolutely awesome! Thank you very much.
There is something about you I can not put my finger on it yet.
I'll have to sit a while and think. See what the Source tells me.
You are an old soul that much I do feel.
"Here in Denmark where I live, fairies are tiny creatures, elves have the size of a human or even taller. In Danish mythology fairies are called alfs, they are nature spirits living in plants, trees and water, and often they have butterfly wings. Danes also believe in gnomes, they used to be minor house gods, but nowadays they are related to our Christmas tradition, they bring gifts for the children on Christmas Eve."
That is interesting, because in Germanic, forest creators like that are also called Elfs, fro mtheir mythology. It is what they called the Irish when first spotting them :) The Tuatha De Danann were called Elfs by the germans LOL We believe in gnomes awe well, we call them house elves...like nobby from harry potter...one can even create one or invite one into the house. I have created one that lives with us, and is known to play with the kids's toys and such. Hes not that smart, I call him "Robbie" after myself :) the creator. Robbie is a bit slow, but likes to move things around. Some would say I have a ghost, but I know it is a sveritor, that became an agrogor, who is now a house elf :)
