I often wondered why the Milesians were able to defeat the Tuatha de Danann when the TDD were deities and the MIlesians were mortal. Somehow, I've had a feeling that the TDD to some degree allowed it.<br />
It makes me think of Star Wars when Obiwan kenobi purposely lost to Darth Vader even though he didn't have to. The Tuatha were very powerful, so it's a bit puzzling...unless of course they allowed it and then not so. They must've realized they would have greater power in the otherworld.
