Soul Journeys in the Multiverse - Nature, Metaphysics & The Arts

Anyone here celebrating/celebrated tonight's Void Moon? Care to share what the Void Moon means in your tradition and/or otherkin life?

For me, Night Elf, its a time when the Goddess of the moon Nadeera, rests. Her time to take a break from her nightly visits. And yet she is still with us, watching over her children. A time for us Night Elves to look deep in our own shadows of the night to discover who we are, emotions, thoughts and experiences that we often put on the "back burner." Healing our inner emotional selves. I see its as a great time for us Otherkin to get a hold of our Otherkin selves, which for some of us have to hide or mask. Also time to finish up old projects.

A simple prayer I created is as follows:

"Be with me Nedeera, Goddess of the hidden moon.

Be with me as I look through darken halls and shadows of myself,

And help me reveal that which has been hidden away.

Help me find strength and discover who I am inside.

Just as we look to the dark moon to help learn who you are."

never understood worship in any way. I only understand love for the gods.

I guess I would say less worship and more "Honor." Worship tends to have  a nasty undertone that sometimes leads to Sadistic traits. Where is "Honor" is much more like one honors ones parents, just at a higher level. And to show that love and respect I offer prayers and such. But to each his/her own.

Multi Dimensional Reality

The world as you know it - all that you see, taste, feel and touch, comprises only about 5% of all of the stuff of the universe. The other 95% is what we have considered "nothing" or the "firmament"  or dark matter or the heavens or mystic Other Worlds. This 95% is multi-dimensional and consists of potential realities that may be perceived.

A single thought...a mere whisper, ...... barely upon a breeze that catches a spark... all is tinder before the firestorm... and yet.
ONLY that whisper
ONLY that thought
the world is forever changed beyond the fears and dreams of cardboard men.
Freedom and change starts within:
It is encouraged by truth and courage of people who love
Built by the respect of true beings standing as one before each other.
Lets us cross every man made borders
without fear stare into eyes and hearts of all our brothers and sisters: within our words without shouting,or force to hold each to our truths; and let us without fear freely share what works...

The Upanishads and the Transcendentalist Poetic Vision

The Upanishads and the Transcendentalist Poetic VisionEmerson and Thoreau’s Discovery of the Infinite SelfWhen the sacred voices of the Hindu Upanishads first drifted into the Western world, they arrived not as quaint relics from the East but as quiet explosions. Their calm insistence that the individual self (Atman) is identical with the cosmic whole (Brahman) struck at the roots of Western dualism. For Ralph Waldo Emerson and Henry David Thoreau—the two brightest stars of American…See More
