difference between Tuatha De Danann and Elves?

for this I get soo many different answers.  Some say Tuatha are a type of Elf others say they are a different Fae race entirely thus becoming Sidhe.  While others say Sidhe for example are Noble Elves. I am very confused as to what Tuatha really are? I feel a strong draw and call to call myself Tuatha but yet so confused on what Tuatha are..

This is because of the vast multitudes of beings that are imperceptible to the human eye who are some indigenous to Earth, some visiting from the stars. Tuatha de Danann are a tribe who lived on Earth for a time and have kin all over earth today is our bloodline. The story ElvenWorld world addresses this in an allegorical way

yes I am Tuatha myself and there is someone else here who gave me a better understanding on what we are. We are Fae but not Sidhe or Elves but both are Kin or cousins to us. So i agree with you both.

Please remember it is not easy to describe another dimension such as the fifth or eighth or twelfth dimension to those living in the third. We do our best with art and music and of course, poetry. 

So in other words, you are asking to explain something that is art., like trying to explain why a symphony is a certain way from logic with which humans understand. The names are one aspect, not all there is.

please remember than current human worldview is much more limited than in times past when we were children connected to worlds beyond. And here we are working to restore this connection and to broaden our worldview and to  welcome in the magical peoples. Celtic culture was destroyed when tens of thousands of women were burned at the stake by the Catholic Church. We lost our culture. Now it’s is time to reconnect to our Indigenous roots. These roots begin as magical, elemental, 100%connected to our Earth Mother, peoples.  These are our stories. This is our culture. 

We call ourselves Tuatha de Danann (Gaelic/Irish) it means Children of Earth. We are not limited to one “race” just as DNA has many elements, just as a crystal has many facets, just as a cat may have many colors.

Today, referring to the magical people we may call Elven, otherkin, pixie, fairies, etc, merfolk, and much much more.  The message of ElvenWorld is to restore understanding and acceptance of ALL magical people. With whichever or whomever you identify as a magical person, we welcome you to the magical worlds. 

Whatever we are called, we have our ancestors, related to us here, those of us with this awareness. And as ancestors, they are very much alive and are changing and living beings. It is only humans who think of our ancestors at some single  point in the past who are invisible to us now so we consider them gone.

Elven blood as it is sometimes called...faery ... are often expressed in art as the feminine element. But please don’t take this as a gender but as a archetypical concept. We all have within us the feminine and masculine energies.

When beings can alter physical appearance, as we magical folk can, “race” is not really relevant.

The Elven have taken on archetypal (symbolic) forms in the minds of many creating a mythology of the Celtic culture. 

By “Return of the Tuatha de Danann”we are talking about the return of the mystical magical element to Earth at this time ushering in a new world, it is the same in this sense as the Tuatha de Danann. 

There are many, many other types of magical beings than the Elven.

The Elven of the Lord of the Rings is descriptive of these legendary people. In ElvenWorld they are restored to their place in Irish mythology so we can learn from their stories and connect, in a metaphysical way, to our ancestry and heritage.

Keep in mind that ancestry and heritage is not always the preponderance of DNA (such as how you look) but may include the entertwining of many races, some of them otherworldly - the Tuatha de Danann have been living in the Otherworldand are returning now to the Upper World of Earth to help us reconnect and restore our culture, our ability to do magic.

If you are curious what is meant by Elven Masters, this too are simply wise ones, your ancestors in the metaphysical bloodline that is Tuatha de    Danann.  You will see that many thousands around the world are connected to us by a very deep metaphysical awareness that is otherwise unexplainable. We are here for one purpose which is to restore the Earth and to create a humanity that exists in harmony with the Earth, preserving this most beautiful planet.
