My name is Eduardo Terzidis, I am 27 years old and I am an Italian-Brazilian born in Italy. I grew up on a farm just outside of Rome and moved into the city when I was 8 years old. At the moment I have no real home as I am moving around the globe on a journey that started about 5 years ago.
When I graduated as an engineer I wanted to help the world cope with the modern environmental crisis and I decided to become a researcher to pursue this edge. It didn’t take me long to realize that I was not actually having the impact I had desired, since all that mattered was how many papers I could publish and how much money I could bring in.
That’s when I decided to look for ways of living that resonated with who I am at a deeper level and what I believed in, and set off on a journey of exploration. The result of this journey has been understanding how important it is to work from the ground up, taking transformative action at the community level.
Joining Gaia U has been the first step for me to integrate who I was with what I am now and it is opening the doors for so many opportunities!
I am a surfer who learned from the Ocean that there is a way to live in harmony with everything around us.
For the first years of my life, I grew up on a farm in the outskirts of Rome in Italy. I used to spend my days climbing trees and observing the patterns of animals and plants. Most of our food came from the land, where my grandfather spent his days growing nourishment for our family.
When I moved to the city, our food suddenly came from the shop and I knew then that my mission was to go back to the land, embodying the role of my grandfather for the healthy growth of the future generations. Somewhere along the way things shifted, and what was first a personal desire became a global necessity to re-discover a lost connection to the web of life. My dream then became a mission to support humans in this wonderful journey of reconnection.
After earning three degrees as a Mechanical Engineer, I became an academic researcher developing airborne wind energy systems. I wanted to use my skills to support the sustainable development of our society. Nevertheless, I soon realised that the dynamics of the world I was in were not for me. I felt a need to "live the solutions" I was developing and I decided to set off on a journey of self-discovery, to understand how to be of real service to humanity. This journey brought me around the world, getting lost and finding myself again to learn who I am and who I want to be. The answer was always the same: going back to the an authentic way of relating to myself and to the ecosystems that we are part of.
During my journey I have visited more than 20 countries, working and learning with several institutes, holistic and spiritual centres and renowned teachers. I have gathered extensive knowledge as a Permaculture Designer and transformed my life by engaging with spiritual practices like yoga, meditation, somatics and surfing. In the last years, I have facilitated the creation of many regenerative projects including, regenerative homesteads, intentional communities, educational projects, institutes and agricultural organisations. I have also supported individuals find their mission and purpose by integrating the design principles of permaculture with the tools I have gathered from my spiritual practices.
Today, I am dedicated to offering transformative experiences for people to reconnect to a deep sense of belonging to Life.
My philosophy
My work stems out from the understanding that we humans have co-evolved with plants, animals and all living and non-living beings in this Universe. We are mirrors of everything that is around us, thus it is in our perceived disconnection from the natural world that resides the very source of our environmental and spiritual crises. For this reason, I aim at creating whole-istic solutions to re-connect to that lost sense of belonging this magnificent web of life.
I offer solutions and experiences that sustain that nourish every individual and the connections between us all for many generations to come.

The world as you know it - all that you see, taste, feel and touch, comprises only about 5% of all of the stuff of the universe. The other 95% is what we have considered "nothing" or the "firmament" or dark matter or the heavens or mystic Other Worlds. This 95% is multi-dimensional and consists of potential realities that may be perceived.
A single thought...a mere whisper, ...... barely upon a breeze that catches a spark... all is tinder before the firestorm... and yet.
ONLY that whisper
ONLY that thought
the world is forever changed beyond the fears and dreams of cardboard men.
Freedom and change starts within:
It is encouraged by truth and courage of people who love
Built by the respect of true beings standing as one before each other.
Lets us cross every man made borders
without fear stare into eyes and hearts of all our brothers and sisters: within our words without shouting,or force to hold each to our truths; and let us without fear freely share what works...
