NOTE:-This is a cult and the original owner known as Oberto Airaudi, 59 years old, known as 'Falco', founder in 1975 of the esoteric community of Damanhur used people,its all like a fake illusional, based on lies of this man... plus he stole all their money & their homes & kept them like slaves living in fear, they couldn't even think for themselves to escape they were that brainwashed,the police got involved to get them out..he went to prison eventually for tax evasion & other things, and yet the poor people were left traumatised unable to make decisions on anything & totally pennyless after loosing everything they owned to this place..so its been built on bad vibes & greed,not a very spiritual place to be despite its appearance,they keep trying to turn it around but the fact is its built on greed so again only the gullible types of people get lured to the art left behind intrigued by it all..its kinda like a evil magic spell putting out a lure to catch the naive...

Damanhur is a microsociety and Italian ecovillage in the hills of Northern Italy, founded in 1977, boasting its own language, religion, and currency, with over 600 citizens. They believe their leader, Oberto Airaudi Falco, traveled in time to the lost city of Atlantis and learned ancient healing practices, which they still practice today. Each year, they host their annual birthday celebration, where Damanhurians from all over the world return to Damanhur, decked in white robes, and perform ceremonial rituals. VICE's Alessia Camoirano Bruges attends the annual celebration, to learn more about a group who have turned their back on society, intending to create their own so called utopian paradise.
