How to get your photo's from cell phone to PC

To those who dont know how to get their cell phone photo's off their phones to then load to their pc's,to be used in posts etc...

You first need to purchase a TypeC usb cord,this is not the cord that comes with your phone that plugs into the wallto charge your phone, its actually one that has a usb port that goes into your pc port and the other end goes into your cell phone, you need one that is compatible to your cell phone connection port,as some phones have different shapes & number of prongs, [see below images to match one to your cell phone,ask at the store if unsure]

Once you have this, put your pc on the main screen first,then put the cord in your cell phone,then the other end into the pc...you will immediately get a device notification that a new device needs to added to your pc, follow the prompts in the box's to add the device to your pc,or you cant take your photos from it at all until this process has been done,this is so that your pc recognised your cell phone device ..

Once you have done this & your pc has recognised  your device, a white box will load on your cell phone saying:-

1. Use usb to:

Transfer photo's

Transfer files

Charge only

2.  Click the first circle saying transfer photos 

 

 You will then get a notification like this,your pc is scanning your cell phone to find the photo's that need to be transfered,these will go into a folder on your pc:-

Once your pc has found your photo's,videos etc from your phone you will get another notification box like this,saying x amount of pictures found from x & import them:-

3. Click this export box, this will then load these images onto your pc in a file that's dated and it will show on your main screen once its done so, when you close it you can find it again on your pc in your pictures section on your pc..[see image below]

4. Loading this image or any others to a post is then simple,follow the normal steps of adding a photo to comment box or post as per normal from the top bar using photo image and finding the photo file its in from date, from your picture files and then pushing add it, then once the photo has loaded to your comment box or to a post, just click the add button..
