There is a feeling of eternity I see in the skies after sunset, just before darkness sets in.
In those moments I wish to fade, leave with the last light.
The rest, the world, it all turns meaningless and the distance of the dying light rushes into my bones.
To leave, to pass through the ether portal to vanish..
Waste not time on pointless repetitions of no consequences
Let it be said that once you say what you have had to say...Then it has been said..

Your title reminded me of a book I started reading some years ago Vlada, the title being "Sky Dancer" by Keith Dowman - The secret life and songs of the Lady Yeshe Tsogyel.
I enjoyed the summing up in the last verse, especially this line ....
"The rest, the world, it all turns meaningless and the distance of the dying light rushes into my bones."

Well I have never heard of that book Julie, but it sounds interesting.. but its topic is the total opposite of what my poetry is about even though you could say it too has a tantric touch..Glad you liked it too..

So this is what its about:-
Yeshe Tsogyel, consort of Guru Padmasambhava, is the most famous of the enlightened women of Tibet. Women have a special place in tantra, but except for Sky Dancer there are few writings that present the spiritual practices and evolution of female aspirants. Here women are in an eminent position, and a path of practice is given for present-day initiates to emulate. Keith Dowman has added a commentary on the path of inner tantra, woman and the dakini, and the Nyingma lineages.

Multi Dimensional Reality
