Do you know anything to do with the Lemurian crystals that hold keys?..your crystal could be one of these, if they have these tiny triangles in it then its not quartz but calcite..and its normally frosty and not that clear in places..In quartz, the termination faces ideally are triangular, although if the crystal is distorted they may have more than three sides. Your crystal shows an example of parallel growth, in which several terminations attempted to form on the same crystal due to damage while forming, impurities, debris or tiny crystals of other minerals interfering with growth of the quartz crystal, and/or other causes.

Lemurian Quartz on the other hand is usually clear and has distinctive growth lines across one or more of their facets. These lines are known as striations, and consist of perfectly formed laddered grooves, similar in aesthetic to bar coding. They are perfectly visible to the naked eye, and render a distinct texture which can be easily felt with a thumb or finger.
The shape and structure of the crystal are also distinctive and definitive characteristics of Lemurian quartz; traditional Lemurian crystals have a hexagonal base, and three of the sides generally taper inward towards a triangular tip. The striations typically occur on alternating facets, and it is the non-tapered sides which tend to feature the striations. The interior of the crystal is most commonly translucent but some examples are beautifully transparent and others are almost entirely opaque.
