"Faery House"

Room for rent. One floor bachelor style lay out. Comes with wood stove.

It is for burning cone incense. This was my first attempt at creating a stone house. I have leaned a fair bit about creating these little Elf houses through the creation of this one. Now that I have learned some of the tricks of it, I think the next one to be made will be much better.

There is a little chimney inside with two hole that allow for the smoke to escape through the top. The door swings open to place the cone of incense inside. Including the chimney it stands about 14 inches high.

Made up of over 300 individually cut and polished soapstone "mini bricks". The brown stone is Brazilian stone and the black/green stone is from Broughton Quebec (Canada). Each brick was painstakingly cut and polished, then glued into place.

The door swings open via three leather straps attached to a stone beam, and the space around the door allows for air flow to be brought in while the insence burns inside.

I painted some simple grass and flowers on the sides of the house and glued on a faery charm on the front door. Then sprayed the outside with a clear coat of shalack. The inside was left raw for two reasons. No one really sees the inside, and the insence may have picked up part of the chemical and sent it into the air, so I left the iside raw and unfinished.

The window is a stone frame with a plastic cover to allow you to see the glow of the incense while it burns n the fire place inside the house.

Looks really cool when the smoke comes out the chimney!

Multi Dimensional Reality

The world as you know it - all that you see, taste, feel and touch, comprises only about 5% of all of the stuff of the universe. The other 95% is what we have considered "nothing" or the "firmament"  or dark matter or the heavens or mystic Other Worlds. This 95% is multi-dimensional and consists of potential realities that may be perceived.

A single thought...a mere whisper, ...... barely upon a breeze that catches a spark... all is tinder before the firestorm... and yet.
ONLY that whisper
ONLY that thought
the world is forever changed beyond the fears and dreams of cardboard men.
Freedom and change starts within:
It is encouraged by truth and courage of people who love
Built by the respect of true beings standing as one before each other.
Lets us cross every man made borders
without fear stare into eyes and hearts of all our brothers and sisters: within our words without shouting,or force to hold each to our truths; and let us without fear freely share what works...

Sufi Poetry: The Journey from Earthly Love to Divine Love

Sufi Poetry: The Journey from Earthly Love to Divine LoveSufi poetry and philosophy elevate love from being a mere emotion to becoming a transformative journey of the soul. Sufi poets believe that without love, neither the ascent of the spirit nor the union with the Divine is possible. They describe earthly love (Ishq-e-Majazi) as the first step that leads the soul to divine love (Ishq-e-Haqiqi). In this transformative path, worldly love acts as a preparatory stage, purifying the soul and…See More
