I used to walk this field and regularly saw this particular hawthorn tree, so it's the subject of several photos from a few years ago. I'd like to remind myself of its presence as there have been many houses built around these beautiful fields. I'm not sure if the tree still stands but I'd like to think it did...a special presence it held for me

It's been spoken of in recent years that different tree species will struggle as the climate changes.  Here we have had months of rain, the land is so wet there is run off from the fields and roads, particularly in the countryside often flood.  Cheshire, where I live is low lying, and well known for the salt industry.

Well these gall wasps have been around for ages, but not all oak trees get effected do they...not sure if it has anything to do with climate change,if it was then its probably the first signs of damage from it,but I'm not expert of that..

I've just been doing a look around online, I think the acorns I saw on my walk were the type you mention ...gall wasp.....from what I just read there's something called Knopper Galls  I'd wondered if it could be anything to do with climate change too Vlada

Would depend on how misshapen your talking about with the acorns, like are they really bad or just elongated?... it could be a disease of the tree or even a parasite..there is a wasp that does some damage too I read called the gall wasp, check that out..otherwise I have no idea, could even be something to do with weather & climate change,we dont know what impact ground temps have on our barked friends do we..it could come out in many ways..

Good to meet another tree lover, trees bring wealth to the environment, beauty too such a shame this is happening in your country.  I live near lots of oak trees, I believe the farmers boundaries were marked by the oaks.  My road is probably named after the old oak at the top end of the road, always lots of acorns around, used to collect acorns on my way to school, conkers too.  I noticed a couple of years ago while out walking that the acorns were growing oddly, misshapen, not sure why...any ideas Vlada

We have Hawthorn hedges over here on old farms, the early British settlers brought it out with them on the ships, as its not a native bush...and the black birds & thrushes love the berries, but farmers are now pulling them out as they see it as a weed as it self seeds over their farms obviously by the birds, plus its too costly to get them trimmed yearly these days..so your a tree lover too, great stuff..

Multi Dimensional Reality

The world as you know it - all that you see, taste, feel and touch, comprises only about 5% of all of the stuff of the universe. The other 95% is what we have considered "nothing" or the "firmament"  or dark matter or the heavens or mystic Other Worlds. This 95% is multi-dimensional and consists of potential realities that may be perceived.

A single thought...a mere whisper, ...... barely upon a breeze that catches a spark... all is tinder before the firestorm... and yet.
ONLY that whisper
ONLY that thought
the world is forever changed beyond the fears and dreams of cardboard men.
Freedom and change starts within:
It is encouraged by truth and courage of people who love
Built by the respect of true beings standing as one before each other.
Lets us cross every man made borders
without fear stare into eyes and hearts of all our brothers and sisters: within our words without shouting,or force to hold each to our truths; and let us without fear freely share what works...
