You can eat that Plantain & dandelion weed in that picture also in a salad..and it looks like there's a bit of chickweed in there that's also edible too..and the clover is edible as well, so you have a full meal salad in that one photo..lol look for more from the clover link there's 19 weeds on it you can eat..

Yep, both colours can be seen here, And there are more flowers here, that have both violet and white color, like Meadow bell, or Violet (flower)

The last photo I posted is the flower of the clover plant it is sometimes pink or there are white ones too with a light brown spot in it ..yes I could believe that acidity in the ground can mutate the growing process of the plant to produce the 4 leaves..it would explain why some plants have it and others dont at certain times of the year due to draughts etc..

No, I've heard that it is influence in the ground, not sure what does that. Similar to one flower, which changes the color of blooms due to acidity of the ground, quite surprising, when I noticed it, group of flowers and one at the corner with totaly different bloom color.
Yeah, the last photo is flower that grows here, but never seen that one with fourleaf. But, I saw four-leaf on strawberry! (and pretty big) The one on my photo is Trifolium repens. (eatable)

Could be a gene mutated clover plant which is awesome if it is..though its my understanding there are also different species of clover and one species of plant is often confused with being a clover when its actually not.. Some species of 'Oxalis' has 4 leaves and is often confused with being a clover and when you see them like in the photo's below you can really see how this can happen..
