Here he is without his leaves in winter, isn't he humongous lol.. you couldn't wrap your arms around his trunk and touch your fingers it would take two or three people to do that..

I'll take another picture of him when hes shed all his Autumn leaves,hes one of the last to shed,they have turned yellow but not dropped off much, all the other oaks are bare now..

Well I can feel him from at least 50-60metres back from his trunk,that's how far away I am from it taking this picture to get his full height in the picture frame,...so his roots must go way into the bank to where I was standing and also down the hillside as well,cos that's one huge old tree. Hes very healthy and is still growing shoots at the top,you can see them like twigs reaching above the main leaves to the sky....

the oak has lots of energy, beautiful !  Have you measure how far his life force flows, that would be cool
