Announcing the third event for Shining Hearth, a free online gathering of Elves, Fae, Sidhe, and adjacent folk! It will be held on March 24-26, 2023 (the fourth weekend in March) on our Discord server. As always, we plan to have workshops and discussions, games, music, and of course plenty of time just to hang out and chat. General registration: January 1 - March 22, 2023

Is there another way to interact aside from chat? I ask this mainly because discussion (online or in real life) is literally taxing on me due to my cognitive issues with ME/CFS - and I'm also rather active on a forum for ME/CFS people. (I belong to a vintage living forum as well, but not as active there.) It would just be nice to be able to keep abreast? of things without having to join the discord.

Shining Hearth staff and presenter signups still open

Staff: We are still looking for at least 2 more chat moderators. The form is available here. If you have any questions about what would be required of you, please ask!

Presenters: We've had an amazing seven proposals so far, and one or two pending! But there's still spaces available. We'll consider any topic that would be of interest to elfae folk and you can use any format: lecture, panel, guiding an open discussion, meditation/ritual, performance, demonstration, etc. The presenter signup form is available here.

Staff: We are looking for at least 3 people to help moderate chat. The form is available here. If you have any questions about what would be required of you, feel free to ask!

 

Presenters: We've had one signup so far, which means there's still plenty of slots open Friday through Sunday! We'll consider any topic that would be of interest to elfae folk and you can use any format: lecture, group discussion, meditation, performance, etc. The presenter signup form is available here.

(If you would like to do a group presentation, choose one person to be the contact and only fill out the form once. All members of the group must be over 18.)
