Nature inspired arts, music, poetry, dance & song

Believe it or not, there were Celtic chakras.. They were awakened in a spiral pattern, which makes way more sense to me than the linear path of awakening chakras. I wonder if there is a type of Celtic yoga or mudra, especially for Druids.

Today I was reading about Celtic Reiki.. Turns out it doesn't seem to be a brad new system, but a new approach to Reiki that is kind of Celtic themed.

Its about communicating with and healing trees and other beings of nature, rather than just healing humans. I feel like I have found my destiny in this book. I would like to be a guardian and custodian of Nature, particularly trees and shrubs.

I've also realized that I want to learn how to heal more than just physical symptoms with Reiki. I would also like to learn how to heal psychological wounds. Maybe that's called hypnosis or guided meditations. Lol.

I have a phobia that makes me afraid to touch people, but I have no problem touching natural beings other than humans. I feel like physical touch makes the flow of reiki stronger and more personalized.

I don't know what I think about distance healing with reiki.. I think I'd need to become a Reiki master to do that properly, even if that's not according to the reiki system. I'm already doing things a bit backwards, why not wait a little before distance healing?

Going to continue updating this post.

Yeah, I don't use symbols right now, mostly because I forgot how to do them. Lol. I see it as unnecessary to do the symbols, though...

Anyway.. maybe I got a little over-excited about Celtic Chakras and Celtic Reiki.. I shouldn't have worded my post the way I did.. I wasn't trying to spread misinformation. I'd like to talk more about this Celtic revival stuff, though. Its a little confusing. I bought a book of translations from the book of Taliesin.. Was he real? Are they words made up by people in the modern age?

I try to go by what feels right.

I think that celtic reiki is fuse of reiki and some modern celtic tradition, original reiki is very simple healing through putting hands on body part to be healed, no symbols, no traditions. And Reiki is very young system.

I was certified for Reiki level 2, and distance healing was part of the curriculum. We learned signs for it.

We also senthealing energy from a distance through stuffed animals.

I actually could sense the physical symptoms to the point where I impressed my teacher andfellow student, but we had a client come in that I couldnt sense had physical painbut seemed to have psychological pain, and I didn't quite know how to heal that.. I've never had a problem sensing physical symptoms, even when I had not known anything about reiki.

I think different chakras deal with different kinds of symptoms, and maybe the crown/brow/throat dealswith the mental issues and the heart/solar plexus and that other one I always forget the name of dealswith emotional andthe rootchakra deals with physical.

I don't know. We didn't learn that much about chakras in reiki class, but I have been able to sense them to an extent.

I agree that anyone could do something like healing plants and animals, but he has mentioned the Duir language and I think he is going to go into the tree calendar as I continue reading.

Re: your additions...

I'm all for "Reiki for trees/nature" (assuming the beings in question consent) but I wonder why someone thought to term this "Celtic"! Maybe they had the supposed "tree calendar" or the mythic conceptions of Druids in mind, but this seems like something anyone could do regardless of their specific religious paradigm or chosen cultural setting.

I've also realized that I want to learn how to heal more than just physical symptoms with Reiki. I would also like to learn how to heal psychological wounds.

It's been a while since I did anything with Reiki at all, and never studied formally, but isn't that "Reiki level 2"?

I don't know what I think about distance healing with reiki.. I think I'd need to become a Reiki master to do that properly, even if that's not according to the reiki system.

...Reiki level 3?

Ah.. Thanks for the heads-up. I'm pretty new to Celtic studies, and I don't know what's what yet..

Hmmm, this sounds like a modern creation or synthesis inspired by the myths, then rather than something historically supported as being a system in its own right. Using the phrase "Celtic shaman" is usually a signal to me that a good grain of salt will be needed! Not that it can't be a good system; magic should live. Though I think the only thing we find in "the lore" that is vaguely similar to a chakra system is the three cauldrons described in the Cauldron of Poesy that seem to be the topic of one chapter of that book.

I found it in a book called Shaman Pathways: The Celtic Chakras by Elen Sentier.

Is this your own insight/creation or did you find this somewhere?

I think that it doesn't end at either of them.

Yeah, I read something like that. The heart chakra was definitely the chakra it started at, but I thought the chakra journey ended at the crown or brow. Can't remember very well.

Multi Dimensional Reality

The world as you know it - all that you see, taste, feel and touch, comprises only about 5% of all of the stuff of the universe. The other 95% is what we have considered "nothing" or the "firmament"  or dark matter or the heavens or mystic Other Worlds. This 95% is multi-dimensional and consists of potential realities that may be perceived.

A single thought...a mere whisper, ...... barely upon a breeze that catches a spark... all is tinder before the firestorm... and yet.
ONLY that whisper
ONLY that thought
the world is forever changed beyond the fears and dreams of cardboard men.
Freedom and change starts within:
It is encouraged by truth and courage of people who love
Built by the respect of true beings standing as one before each other.
Lets us cross every man made borders
without fear stare into eyes and hearts of all our brothers and sisters: within our words without shouting,or force to hold each to our truths; and let us without fear freely share what works...
