Well, it is not ultimate solution for daily growing mass of garbage, but it will ease the problem. I hope that it will serve well in any weather.

No this is not fear based anything,its a bonus to everyone in the long run..its a good thing to get rid of our plastic waste as China has refused to take it now,so NZ is taking the initiative to do something good and dispose of it in a good way at a reasonable cost, naturally its in the experimental phase and only laid on one street so far to see how it lasts I spose? It has been tested for leaching so that's safe,but will it survive our hot summers and cold winters is another story..if it does I'm sure most other cities will be wanting the method to lay it in their towns too..we wont need to worry so much on how to dispose of our un-recyclable plastic's.

That would be great if it were reproduced, there are many such inventions, which are not known much and yet they can change the world, we have even quite imaginable wonders aviable as a humanity.  But someone would loose income probably.

I hope so too, cos its a first for NZ and a great way to get rid of that horrible plastic waste in a more constructive manner..who knows if its that good, it may be able to be reproduced in other countries also and be a huge money spinner for those who came up with the concept..

Just today in our regional news over here in New Zealand is good news - New Zealand has found a way to use un-recyclable plastic e.g shampoo bottles & yoghurt pots & other coloured plastic containers etc into a new roading material mixed with ash-felt..its laid a road in New Plymouth to test its durability, its looking good and a great way to use up this type of plastic material..

It's not a case of raising vibrations on this planet at all its a case of seeing the massive destruction that our own footprints make upon it, our naivety to climate change by our own hands, we are destroying our planet with plastic & the burning of fossil fuels...its our use of plastics that are destroying everything, we cant seem to understand that this has to change, every single thing we purchase from our supermarkets is embedded with a solid plastic covering,its this that is not recyclable,sweet wrappers,bread wrappers,product wrappers,certain cartons & bottles and it is these coverings that are getting into our rivers,lakes,streams & oceans destroying eco systems & water animals that eventually enter our food chain as well if they are killed..even certain products we use in our daily skin care,small plastic beads are in them yet we dont know about it,these go down our drains and eventually into our oceans..Its time humans started to look at themselves more deeply and how they are effecting this place of beauty we live on..change is inside and out for sure, but its our mindsets that really need altering big time..
