Faery land, Elven World and the Ego; Notes from Tara

Faeryland, Elven World and the Ego

 - T.E. Pelton

Ego is the human characteristic of identity. It is your name, your "beingness", your life choices, your hairdo: everything that is unique to you and is an expression of you.

Mystics often speak about "losing the ego" as a way to find relief of suffering.  It is true. You do not feel loss, pain or passion, if you do not exist. ;-)

Except the ego is the entire reason we are here - to feel the pain, the passion, the intensity of living, to relish in all of it. Otherwise, why leave the non-physical land of blissful awareness and enter the third dimensional human body?

The only pain is the inability to remember this is why you came here in the first place ;-)

We all must live with our egos. The beauty of death is no longer having one. The beauty of life is having eyes through which you can see.

Faery land however, the land of the Elven and the Fae, is the world just shy of death, just touching the dawn of life, the in-between point where you can hold out your arms to the infinite and dig your feet into the ground of the Earth.

Relish in who you are  - you are divine.

Blessings on this day,

Tara

This world has forgotten that the EGO is sacred and holy, one part of the whole, neither beneath nor above anything else, but balanced ever in light and love with ALL-THAT-IS which proceeds from the limitless love that stands at the heart of the Divine Mystery.

I wonder, could we fully develop compassion, empathy, and forgiveness without having experienced the suffering resulting from having an ego that feels separate from its true home?

I heard the other day that we are the only creatures with the capacity to feel we don't belong.   The animal kingdom, the plant kingdom all just feel just one.   But us, alienation makes us unique in this dimension and is an essential spice of life.   Only that with an ego can feel that she/he doesn't belong.   Humans aren't Angels yet! Almost, but not quite.  It's nice to relax into one's skin now and then.  Uhhhhh...

Multi Dimensional Reality

The world as you know it - all that you see, taste, feel and touch, comprises only about 5% of all of the stuff of the universe. The other 95% is what we have considered "nothing" or the "firmament"  or dark matter or the heavens or mystic Other Worlds. This 95% is multi-dimensional and consists of potential realities that may be perceived.

A single thought...a mere whisper, ...... barely upon a breeze that catches a spark... all is tinder before the firestorm... and yet.
ONLY that whisper
ONLY that thought
the world is forever changed beyond the fears and dreams of cardboard men.
Freedom and change starts within:
It is encouraged by truth and courage of people who love
Built by the respect of true beings standing as one before each other.
Lets us cross every man made borders
without fear stare into eyes and hearts of all our brothers and sisters: within our words without shouting,or force to hold each to our truths; and let us without fear freely share what works...
