Little by Little

When grief had done its work and the tears were all but cried

little by little the body awoke and the heart it began its sigh

The weather outside was violent, the earth it began to roll

little by little the heart beat stronger, messaging love to heal her soul

When all was quiet in that inner space, galaxies began to spin

igniting the spirit's creative juices, all were creation's kin

As the sun hid itself behind a fulsome sky of greyish cloud

the spirit reached out it's hand and began singing bright and loud

Don't skip the beat, don't drop your song

each will be needed before too long

Hold those you love close and then closer still

listen to your guidance, there is free will

Go to your holy place where you will tune into peace

sit in silence, in balance....release
