Nature Inspired Spiritual Arts

For some time now I have been practicing zen. Because of my differences, meditation seated without moving about was not possible, so I have been practicing moving meditation. I started dancing and growing as a dancer by learning to find physical balance in posture. In dance we can be in the present moment. We can also experience it by walking, cleaning, carpentry or any time we can focus on being in the present moment. Dance helps me because I can focus on the music. Dance helps me to be in present but also to express myself in conversation without words and with the elements. Dance for me is necessary to maintain equilibrium when I am uncertain or to just connect and get in harmony and alignment through movement. Anytime is a good time to remember be aware of body moving through space here on earth -the rapture

I’ve always been a spiritual fan of dance meditations, with some inspiration from Gabrielle Roth’s ‘5 Rhythms’ and Martha Graham’s expressive and Shamanistic styles. Walking meditations are great and tai-chi for the flow and focus. Great post and I sure relate to it. :-)

Multi Dimensional Reality

The world as you know it - all that you see, taste, feel and touch, comprises only about 5% of all of the stuff of the universe. The other 95% is what we have considered "nothing" or the "firmament"  or dark matter or the heavens or mystic Other Worlds. This 95% is multi-dimensional and consists of potential realities that may be perceived.

A single thought...a mere whisper, ...... barely upon a breeze that catches a spark... all is tinder before the firestorm... and yet.
ONLY that whisper
ONLY that thought
the world is forever changed beyond the fears and dreams of cardboard men.
Freedom and change starts within:
It is encouraged by truth and courage of people who love
Built by the respect of true beings standing as one before each other.
Lets us cross every man made borders
without fear stare into eyes and hearts of all our brothers and sisters: within our words without shouting,or force to hold each to our truths; and let us without fear freely share what works...

Bliss - What It Is & Why It Matters - By Natalie Glasson Bliss is a profound state of joy, peace, and unity with all that is. It is not the fleeting happiness that comes from outer circumstances, but a deep inner radiance that arises when the soul is fully present and aligned with divine truth. Bliss is the language of the soul. It is how your soul feels when it remembers its…See More
