So I just want to let you all in on something interesting I discovered.
Homestuck is probably about Celtic culture, and no one talks about it.
The aliens are called Trolls.
Mischievious pranksters.
Psychic abilities. [debatable magic]
They get fairy wings complete with *special stardust* when they god tier, and at least some of them have elf ears.
Some are even born with fairy wings as a genetic mutation.
Their seadwellers obviously allude to merpeople.
Their royalty live under the waves. [Land under the Wave]
There are only young Trolls on Alternia. [Land of the Young]
They are born with different colors of blood, which is on a rainbow spectrum. [Multicoloured Place]

There is a King Arthur type character. [Dave]
Who gets into a love TRIANGLE with Terezi and Karkat.
Karkat is a Knight class like Dave.
Karkat = Lancelot
Terezi = Guinevere
Tavros and/or Rufioh are representatives of Peter Pan.
Nepeta and maybe the entire olive blood caste has Robin Hood allusions.
Bard class
Seer class [Ovate]
So now that thats out of the way..
Somehow this webcomic author wrote uncannily specific stuff about my interpersonal relationships.
I will just stop here for now. Its a lot to unpack.

I hope everyone is feeling better and more hopeful!
springtime is here at last!
I'm not really a fan of interbreeding.
Of course they are real, are we not real ourselves?
Yes but are they real? Have you seen one? I believe I’m married to one... It’s an elven gnome alliance.... very nice ha ha powerful
Fae are hard to describe, even worse with claiming who/what is fae and not.
I would say trolls are closer to orcs, than elves and fae, but who cares?
I thought Trolls were a type of fae?
Homestuck is probably about Celtic culture ... The aliens are called Trolls.
Hm, well, trolls are Scandinavian... not that that is totally unrelated to Celtic cultures, but not the same.
Wings and pointed ears are fairly modern additions to fairy lore - wings comes from Victorian theater tropes, and pointed ears may come from identification with demons thus gaining their "bestial" traits. Anyway there is nothing particularly "Celtic" about that either.
Lord English is named after a pool term and "retroactively" named after Lord British from the Ultima games, according to the wiki (there isn't a citation for what "retroactively" means, but I'm going to guess Hussie didn't have it in mind upfront but when it was pointed out to him, thought it was cool and decided to adopt it).
To be sure there's a lot of references to just about any darn thing with how sprawling Homestuck is, but "probably about Celtic culture" is... pretty broad.
Well, I'm not surprised, some vikings became dwarves. They look so similar nowadays...
It is interesting thinking.
The world as you know it - all that you see, taste, feel and touch, comprises only about 5% of all of the stuff of the universe. The other 95% is what we have considered "nothing" or the "firmament" or dark matter or the heavens or mystic Other Worlds. This 95% is multi-dimensional and consists of potential realities that may be perceived.
