Shining Hearth returns!
Announcing the second event for Shining Hearth, a free online gathering of Elves, Fae, Sidhe, and adjacent folk! It will be held March 18-20, 2022, on our Discord server. Like last year, we plan to have presentations and discussions, video watch-alongs and games, music, and of course plenty of time just to hang out and chat. You can get all the details and sign up for our newsletter at our website!

Staff sign-ups: October 23 - November 19, 2021
Presenter sign-ups: November 20 - December 31, 2021
General registration: January 1 - March 16, 2022
Schedule posted: early February (tentative)

Looking for replacement staff and presenter
We've lost contact with one of our staff members who was also giving a presentation and are looking for replacements. You must be 18 years of age or older and have or be willing to create a Discord account. Other requirements:
Staff: Have duties of chat moderator, schedule runner (make sure next presenter is ready to go and give time warnings), and technical support (help with technical problems on Discord). Prefer if we can get all three (whether in one person or more), but schedule running is the most important. Must commit to being present on all three days of the event, Friday, March 18 through Sunday, March 20, and to checking the server for messages regularly between now and then. If interested, fill out the form here.
Presenter: Give a talk, discussion, demo, performance, etc. of approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour in length. Topics directly related to elves/fae/etc. are preferred. Topics of general interest to otherkind will also be considered. Must commit to this timeslot: Sunday, March 20, 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM Central Time (9:30 AM Pacific, 10:30 Mountain, 12:30 Eastern), to check in 30 minutes ahead of time on that day, and to checking the server for messages regularly between now and then. If interested, fill out the form here. (Skip the questions about picking a timeslot - you must commit to Sunday, March 20, 11:30 AM CDT.)

Presenter signups for Shining Hearth are still open! We're up to four things planned and a few folks considering options. We are looking for about ten presentations total, so there's plenty of room still in the schedule. Presentations don't have to be a formal workshop; they can be roundtable discussion, a musical performance, even a craft demo - so long as the content is relevant to elfae folk. Multi Dimensional Reality
The world as you know it - all that you see, taste, feel and touch, comprises only about 5% of all of the stuff of the universe. The other 95% is what we have considered "nothing" or the "firmament" or dark matter or the heavens or mystic Other Worlds. This 95% is multi-dimensional and consists of potential realities that may be perceived.
