Unable to post my beautiful response to this due to the site glitching again. Will try later. Do alert me if others of you have this issue. And yes, if starseeds is down I wonder why but please invite good hearted multidimensionals here for community relations.
i think the concept of different races/deities actually being the same is interesting, but i think the Tuatha and the Annunaki are different races, from different places or star systems.
Relations there may be, but groups need to separate themselves a bit too. Which means there is tendency to deny relations too.
*smiles*...i love the discussion !
i think everything is related at some point or another, sometimes in very circuitous ways....
one thing i learned from a Faery Mystic many years ago is that i am Tenathi D'Ar...she said these are the guardians of the Tuatha de Dana'an...i think it's possible that the original spelling was Tenathi D'Ur.
i just know it's all extremely interesting : )

eventually coming to be known as the Elven folk of Celtic lore. It is interesting to note that the prefix, “El,” of Elven is a derivative of the ancient Sumerian Elil and the Hebrew Elohim
A strange thing to say. For one thing, Elf is a word of Germanic ancestry, not Celtic, but maybe they didn't mean to say that exactly. (I would say the Tuatha are Elven only in a loose sense in that they occupy a similar space in the lore as the Germanic or Norse Alfar.) But while one might find poetic resonance in the fact that "Elven" contains the syllable "El", it is not a prefix, and Elf/Elven don't come from Hebrew or Sumerian either -- but it is probably interesting that a lot of languages/cultures have a word for some "Other People" that conveys the idea of bright, white, or shining, which is a category alb/alf/elf (as a word) *does* fit into (and that you could consider the Tuatha as being, as a people if not as a word).
Are these simply tricks of word similarities or are the coincidences far too great to overlook?
I'm going to go with tricks of word similarities, by and large - but "doesn't stand up to academic scrutiny" is not the same as "not valuable as personal mythology".
Interesting text. consider it simply the way that Tuatha moved north in attempt to live as they wanted. Biblical lands were turning into lands of weirdos they are today so not just this spiritual tribe had to escape.
The world as you know it - all that you see, taste, feel and touch, comprises only about 5% of all of the stuff of the universe. The other 95% is what we have considered "nothing" or the "firmament" or dark matter or the heavens or mystic Other Worlds. This 95% is multi-dimensional and consists of potential realities that may be perceived.
A single thought...a mere whisper, ...... barely upon a breeze that catches a spark... all is tinder before the firestorm... and yet.
ONLY that whisper
ONLY that thought
the world is forever changed beyond the fears and dreams of cardboard men.
Freedom and change starts within:
It is encouraged by truth and courage of people who love
Built by the respect of true beings standing as one before each other.
Lets us cross every man made borders
without fear stare into eyes and hearts of all our brothers and sisters: within our words without shouting,or force to hold each to our truths; and let us without fear freely share what works...
