3. Celestial Elf & the Pipe of Peace

Celestial Elf 'Free-Sky' has been sheltering on Maya island in the Serene worlds of Conjunctio, SecondLife, where he has learned some of the Earthly Ancient Ways from the Druid residing in the Druids Grove, which is a Sacred Stone Circle set in the Heart of the island.

Free Sky has been pondering the Druids ability to Shape Shift, into various other forms such as those of the Snake & Owl, the Stag & Seal, and even a mighty green Dragon.
Whilst these forms do not hold great appeal for the Elf as such, as he can of course transform into a Star or Orb of Light (or even a Will 'o' the Wisp should occasion arise) he has found it interesting to reflect on why the Druid should value these tricks so highly.

More specifically, he has been delighted to recognize that in the Druid's 'Ancient' ways, there is a strong similarity with his own Elven reverence for Nature and the Forces of Light.
It is not uncommon for Elves to visit the Earthly realms and this is precisely because they find our world so beautiful, I could mention here that they do also frequent many other worlds, but more about those later.....

Celestial Elf Free Sky was drawn down here to Earth by hearing some of the Druid's beautiful poems that flew skywards on the scent of a wild rose;

Catechism for a Witch's Child;

When they ask to see your gods
your book of prayers
show them lines
drawn delicately with veins
on the underside of a bird's wing
tell them you believe
in giant sycamores mottled
and stark against a winter sky
and in nights so frozen
stars crack open spilling

Rejoicing in the Druid's Love of Life and all that is good, and in this deep respect for the source of all this goodness, the Goddess whom he calls Gaia, the Earth Mother (& Sky Father, her beloved husband, but again i digress.....) the Elf considers the trials besetting the Druid's Earthly life.....
In a word, all is not as it should be upon the Earth and the Druid has told Free Sky that he hopes to re-awaken the sleeping souls of mankind to renew their wonder and cherishing of this life, to instigate a renaissance or rejoicing in the daily wonders that bless every moment of life.

Free Sky has decided that these are principles which he could gladly assist, for a little while (and as time is entirely make believe for Celestial Elves, that might mean a minute or two, or if he is really keen and forgets what he is doing but just gets on with things, it could be hundreds of years...)

He has also learned from the Druid of the Earthly Shamanic ways, which really are very similar to Elven paths of thought, as to Visualize is the path to Becoming, and Belief becomes A Key to ascend heights beyond mortality.....
In fact dear reader, truth to tell, many of the Shaman and even some Druids of Yore have actually been Elves of one sort or another, engaged in a little 'Elvarian' work of compassion and delight, to help the' Half Thought's' as they call most humans, in their path towards the limitless light.....

Of the Shamanic 'Pipe', whilst Free Sky and most Elves think it very odd indeed to take smoke of any sort, the Druid has explained to him that the purpose is merely to engage the body uin a ritual by which it will remain preoccupied and thus free the spirit for higher things, and the noxious smell keeps any disturbance at bay thus serving to announce to all the creatures that a time of peace and patience is underway here.
Not one to scorn an-others beliefs, Free tries the Pipe as he meditates on Gaia, Lady of The Earth and Mother of All Creatures........
