Poem ~ There is struggle sometimes

There is struggle sometimes

Bodies have their off days 

sometimes a concern

 in those sometimes off days

we often deepen, learn

We may alter our routines

in who does what and when

in those sometimes off days

we often pick up our pen

New skills can come into play

a kind of stretching of the muscles

in those sometimes off time days

there is always the jigsaw puzzle

In those sometimes off days 

mum would go into her garden

pulling at the weeds and clipping bushes

she didn't want those muscles to harden!

We may look into our memories

and see those times of struggle

in those sometimes off days

we each need a cosy cuddle
