Archetypes, identities gods and goddesses, ascended masters, guides, brothers, sisters, friends

Many people enjoy connecting with a character or identity - or in the Elven World expression - gods and goddesses. To me, the gods and goddesses are  real people who are brothers, sisters or friends with aspects of themselves that are magical and unique. Compared to being gods and goddesses that express an ideal or concept. Do you think that we today express ourselves as aspects of this divine or are we still looking at entities out there as some archetype or ideal to reach up to meet?

Upon meeting “other dimensionals” myself who I would have priorly labeled as gods, they were very clear to explain many repeated messages that we are friends and there is a brother-sister type connection. There is no relationship where one is better (them) or even more knowledgeable or skilled than another (us).

Itwas more like a very clear understanding we are all the same but for those in otherworlds it is a more rarified air, an environment more easy to be oneself and  expression of the pure love rather than someone who is looked up to for advice. Are we the gods and goddesses talking to our friends?

Taking gods as simple aspects doesn't feel to me as earthly or simply normal concept, but rather christian misinformation.

Although it can be pointing to their great or bad sides, it has quite limited use and little meaning for practice. Mabe except some magic rituals when you summon spirits or gods of elements or various powers.

Hmm yes, one might say the person is a god or goddess but really well as far as what we are talking about here they are Faery ancestors or Elven ancestors or Elven Elders. I prefer Faery Elders, Elven Masters, Elven Kind, Brothers and Sisters, that is what they refer to themselves as In messages I receive, brothers and sisters, they continually make a point of using those words often and explaining our relations. I like that better I am going to change it. People are more awake and do not need “gods” nor do I want it to be associated with an old religion

Hiya, i am new to this page, i walk a goddess spirituality pathin the Avalon tradition, as a priestess, i am Priestess of Brighid, i see goddess in the earth, in her tree's,  flowers, rivers, sea's, i feel her in her winds, the warmth of the sun, i hear her in the birdsongs, to me she is the heartbeat of the earth, and she is my heartbeat, she is without and within me,  i talk to her as my mother, my sister, my lover, my friend, i work through her and she works through me, goddess is love. Ahhh thank you, i trained for 2yrs in glastonbury, the path of priestess is a deep journey, i know i have been a priestess in previous lives, one was as priestess of isis in ancient eygpt, this lifetime i am of the celtic blood, called to be her priestess again, an honour,

Scota sounds like a woman after my own heart
