Magic - what is magic - to you?

What is your concept of magic? 

What is Elven magick? Perhaps tell us more..

Does it mean able to change things in a non mechanical way, that appears to human senses as mystical because the human perception is so limited?

Does it mean the ability to change shape or form?

Does it mean the ability to make a intended desire manifest?

Or something else that you can please describe ?

Does the person accomplishing magic have a higher responsibility as to the evolution or outcome ?

Please tell me more about your experiences with magic...

To me i don't use the term magic for those type of things. I feel that all capable of doing them. Though here it is more limited and things work slower than in the OtherWorld. When in the OtherWorld I am able to do so much more. While here i can manifest things i want to happen however it can take much more time. I can not physicaly shape shift here though there I can. Which I do understand why this is.

Magic, my passion. Even human mages have amazing honor for magic, calling it royal science or science of sciences, although they also admit it to be an art.

In my mind, my magic is art of mind alone. Working with mind-over-matter power. Allows reshaping of reality by changing program the energy forming it has. But there is also elemental work or other altering this energy itself.

We all have responsibility for all our actions. Claiming it to be higher than doing magic is understandable, but it simply isn't changing, it is included in responsibility for all your deeds.

Imho everything is magic....we have but to notice it.....but that's not the topic, i know : )

i'm a witch for about 50 years...i used to use a lot of "tools"like cauldron candles and incense, adhered to correspondences like days/moon phases/numbers/ stones/colors /music/set rituals etc......

then about 20 years ago i realized that those are all great enhancers, especially to put me in the frame of mind for the Work ( i still use them, but i know that's not what brings me success) :

 It's sheer focused Will. Focused Will is all we need.

It's not easy to focus the Will enough, in this day of multi-tasking and high speed everything, but if we train ourselves in purposeful meditation and visualization, we can do it anywhere effectively.

Magic is the Manifestation of one's Goal through focused Will.

Manifestation of ones goal through focused will. I agree.  Another way to say is that condensed energy is mass! You/we /consciousness with an energy production ability that is creating -or has the potential to creat any mass by focusing energy.

yes ! energy has mass, and our focused energy can change or become anything...i think my only limitation is how much or little i work on it.

Yeah, good advice; don't mess with spiritual groups that prohibit magic as sinfull and don't practice their excersises/rutals. I did and studied a lot of their texts. I guess that their guides/spirits thought that they can get me as one of them.
