The bird's nest picture attracted me, so I went and found out more as I hadn't heard of Richard Dadd before Ametrine

same thought, sounded like he painted while he was in Bedlam and then later in Broadmoor hospital.  There was another artist I'd heard about used to paint cats, his work varied greatly from cool to psychedelic cats... Louis Wain his name was

Sad,he lost his mind in mental illness...but I so prefer his other pieces set in Bedouin times in the orient & Damascus myself..the fairy chaos one dosnt even drawn me in..

Yes they're very well painted even though the guy on the video thought they were flat, and he imagined that that was because Richard painted from memory of his time abroad

He thought they were flat!,right... well one needs to zoom into these pictures to see the finer details and yet these images dont do them any justice sadly,..but the dude on the video dosnt know art,let alone a good artist when he sees one, they are awesome water colours fine brush strokes and amazing colour for the time frame they were done in,.

Thank you for sharing  his art with us Julie, I like him very much :o)

Multi Dimensional Reality

The world as you know it - all that you see, taste, feel and touch, comprises only about 5% of all of the stuff of the universe. The other 95% is what we have considered "nothing" or the "firmament"  or dark matter or the heavens or mystic Other Worlds. This 95% is multi-dimensional and consists of potential realities that may be perceived.

A single thought...a mere whisper, ...... barely upon a breeze that catches a spark... all is tinder before the firestorm... and yet.
ONLY that whisper
ONLY that thought
the world is forever changed beyond the fears and dreams of cardboard men.
Freedom and change starts within:
It is encouraged by truth and courage of people who love
Built by the respect of true beings standing as one before each other.
Lets us cross every man made borders
without fear stare into eyes and hearts of all our brothers and sisters: within our words without shouting,or force to hold each to our truths; and let us without fear freely share what works...

Emotional Harmony from the DailyOM

Emotional harmony begins with what’s on your plate — and makes all the difference in how you think, feel, and move through each day.  What we eat does so much more than fill our stomachs — it gently shapes the way we move through the world. Every bite sends a message to the nervous system, the part of us that helps us handle stress, rest deeply, digest our meals, and feel at home inside ourselves. When our days get busy and we lean on quick fixes like caffeine, sugar, or whatever we can grab on…See More
