Julie do you forage for food in these places you go to, or collect things like berries & plants to make jams & things?,....I just did a post of foraging in our country and town as its making a comeback its in the gardening group,...and I see here there is an abundance of things in your videos & pictures that your bound to be able to eat, like rose sips, maybe you see elder or juniper berries?..I see loads of nettles around can you eat them in your stews or make a tea...bugger going out in the freezing cold in winter over there,it looks so bitter..but you have some lovely photo's during it,this winter I think I will try and get some myself.. last year I got one really nice spider web on a fence in early morning with dew on it up on Primrose hill..here it is below..I love this photo,to me the drops look like wee crystal pearl beads threaded on to make a web collar necklace.

Cool photo Vlada, I love the webs when they're all jewelled like yours..here's one from the garden from some time ago

one in the brambles, used to go blackberry picking then put the blackberries in with my garden applies to make crumbles

Oh those photo's failed to post properly Julie I see little green files when I click they say 404 fail.

mmm wonder why they show up for me, I'll test and put up something else

Oh they showed up now Julie,thanks...just a weird Ning glitch again, they are beautiful I love their webs, woven pieces of art..

Ahhh cool :) those glitches happen, then they usually right themselves

There were so many webs and spiders yesterday up at the marina, had to put a few outside, and clear the webs. The spiders live in the boat windows behind the curtains and in the bathroom.

We call that fern 'bracken' over here, is that what its called over there?...are those images photoshopped?

Yes I used to play with the colours until something clicked inside me when I got it the right shade/tone, used to love doing that, then when my last computer went black screen I didn't have the video programme that I was familiar with and photoshop went to pay monthly.  I had a go with the video programme on this computer but couldn't get the hang of it.

I'd been asked by a friend to illustrate her Magical Moments book as she like my photos so I just kept producing images for her 365 days of coverage for the book.  Tina died so Magical Moments never got published Vlada.

Anyways I had fun making all those pictures and it set me a delightful challenge!

Just bracken, but it does look like the ferns in the garden a bit only the fern in the garden doesn't dry gold coloured it just goes a bit limp in the frost and turns black

So really your rather cleaver with the pc programmes then cos your photos dont look obviously coloured, unless you place a all over shade..they look natural like.. I wouldn't have a clue on how to do things like that.. keep doing what your doing the photos are great.

thanks Vlada, it always takes me a good while to learn but I enjoy a challenge

I remember having a bit of fun playing with this image of a stream with tree reflections

oh it almost looks like a oil painting dosnt it,amazing..

Thanks Vlada

Multi Dimensional Reality

The world as you know it - all that you see, taste, feel and touch, comprises only about 5% of all of the stuff of the universe. The other 95% is what we have considered "nothing" or the "firmament"  or dark matter or the heavens or mystic Other Worlds. This 95% is multi-dimensional and consists of potential realities that may be perceived.

A single thought...a mere whisper, ...... barely upon a breeze that catches a spark... all is tinder before the firestorm... and yet.
ONLY that whisper
ONLY that thought
the world is forever changed beyond the fears and dreams of cardboard men.
Freedom and change starts within:
It is encouraged by truth and courage of people who love
Built by the respect of true beings standing as one before each other.
Lets us cross every man made borders
without fear stare into eyes and hearts of all our brothers and sisters: within our words without shouting,or force to hold each to our truths; and let us without fear freely share what works...

Water Quality where you are...Doing something to make a difference to quality of life

I was reading an article on Medium today and as I'm interested in water quality I'm adding here for anyone else to chime in and add their feelingsThis article is by Michelle Lawson who lives in Devon, EnglandWatermouth Cove, North Devon. All photos are taken by the author.I’m walking along the South-West Coastal Path towards Watermouth Cove, near Ilfracombe in North Devon. Anyone who’s watched Enid Blyton’s Famous Five on TV might recognize it as the location of the scenes at ‘Kirrin Island’. I…See More
