Yes the Sacred Ogham Tree: Oak is mine also..I managed to actually film the oak tree breathing out again that we spoke of the other day.. I got it to do it yesterday too, now I just have to load it to share, I didn't think it was going to do it, but I waited and kept filming willing it to share and I told it I was filming it and then finally it did at the very end..I'll share it in here when I've loaded it..

Trees are important to all life, they breath in the carbon dioxide that we breath out, like bees they need to live and be looked after.  Oak seems to be my totem tree.

I read somewhere just recently that some trees were going to get just that the right to be treated like humans if any wrong doing was done to them..e.g you kill a a certain tree and you go to prison for murder, I think its good, they need to do the same for the poor animals in the world too..

Oh I love that tree you posted, woah it would make a gorgeous painting aye, glad its being protected..I was horrified when I saw the news of the Sycamore Gap tree along Hadrian's Wall got killed I was like WTF how could someone do that,they have to have been mentally ill,2 of them charged luckily but what will be their fate,probably a slap on their hands and a fine,personally I think trees that get destroyed illegally the sentence should be like as if it was murder of a human..as its left a huge outpouring of grief in so many people..so there are many Greenies/ tree huggers in the UK luckily to save these ancient trees form similar fates.

here's a tree who lives in Sherwood Forest

We visited the tree on a camping trip when my son was in his teen years.  The tree is legendary in England and it lives in Sherwood Forest.  At the time of the visit the tree was cordoned off, which from reading on the link below happened in the 1970's.

Look at this New Zealand ancient tree I took a photo of.. its found just the other side of Thames on the coast road to the Coromandel Peninsula and its over 800yrs old...believe it or not..yes its true 800yrs old...its got full Govt protection and thus wont ever be removed or tampered with unless trimming is for its own health & wellbeing..

Metrosideros excelsa, commonly known to Maori as Pōhutukawa, New Zealand Christmas tree, and iron tree, is a coastal evergreen tree in the myrtle family, Myrtaceae, that produces a brilliant display of red flowers, each consisting of a mass of stamens.
