Darkness and Light

I've been working on this for a few weeks. I have been so busy with work, college, and the rehearsal schedules for Rodgers and Hammerstein's "Cinderella" (I'm one of the townsfolk).

Here are my own characters which I will gladly like to share with you.

I used young Alan Rickman to be the ruthless, hideous Lord Kenric Wulfric. His personality would be cold-blooded and beastly, pretty much of an antagonist. I wanted to give him a hideous look that is similar to the horror movie, The Exorcist. His eyes are milky white-- completely blind. I thought it would be romantic to have a lonely blind man to touch a woman's face, describing her features.

The color of his flesh is as white as death, and hair color would be as though he had been aging rapidly. I got this idea from Disney's A Christmas Carol, starring Jim Carrey. Carrey also portrayed the Ghost of Christmas Present. This the only video clip I could find where his time ends at midnight. [link]

That was pretty haunting and frightening, and I thought this would be perfect one for Kenric's creepy look!

He was cursed by a shadowy figure who pour its dark soul deep into his core, causing him to be blind, miserable, and wear this hideously damaged face.

I used myself as an elf, only my personality would resemble Julie Andrews' character: Maria Von Trapp from the Sound of Music. Rose Clark dwells in the evergreen lands with her warm-hearted master, Godfrey - an Irish wizard who immigrated to England years ago, and was a dear, loyal friend to the Wulfric Family.

Rose loves to sing and is befriended to creatures in the forests. She rides on her doe (the size of a horse) named Elain (Welsh meaning fawn). After foreseeing Lord Kenric's fate, Godfrey sent Rose to Wulfric Castle to find a way to lift the curse he had been suffering. She questioned Godfrey why must she be responsible for this.

Godfrey answered. "His wife poisoned herself, leaving his two sons behind because of his greed He has been cursed by my own brother, Lionel, who wanted to claim the throne for himself. He is slowly poisoning Kenric's mind, and the boys might be in extreme peril. I can hear the children praying desperately for a mother, and I sense that Kenric longs for a devoted wife who will teach him to love again. You may not notice it; however, it will take time. You MUST help them."

Despite thinking of Kenric, her main concern was the children. Their mother selfishly left them heartbroken. Without hesitation, she agreed to do this frightening task. She rode on Elain to Wulfric Castle. Once she met Kenric, Rose was both frightened and sympathetic of his appearance. Kenric remained cold-hearted and impatient. She then met his two sons, who were awestruck to meet an elf so beautiful and kind in the castle. She swore to stay until she finally lifts up the curse that lingers in the castle. But when will she realize that she can feel the relatinonship between her and Kenric? Will she be the true love Kenric was hoping for, even though he is blind?

Forgive my impatience, but I was eager to show this to you. It might not be finished cause for now I have artist' block.
