To all lurkers here and to all memebers, old and new:

We have now up and running private Discord server. Since chat here doesn't serve as well as it should and active members agreed on setting discord, we started one. Discord has advantage of good chat, unlimited storage for pictures and files (unlike paid ning) and audio/video chat.

Our server on Discord also includes channel with automated notifications of all activity on Elvenworld.

Access to the Discord is restricted for Elven World members. For now I'm not strict on checking out who comes, but if I see that troublemakers slip in, I'll put on strict checkout on entrance.

Anyway, as the server is private, whoever wants to join it, send me a message and I'll give you a link. Hope to see you all.

I gave up on MSN messenger years back,..so all the more reason to flag this discord if that's all it is,.. Morell I have no idea what your sharing with me,RSS feed???its of no benefit to me at all either thank-you but sorry,...you guys enjoy your txt messenger,but just dont forget about all the hard work communication,posts & discussions placed in this website.

Uhm... actually I use discord desktop almost exclusively since I don't have a working phone. Unless you trip their bot detection you don't even have to put in a phone number... which is very hard. It also has the ability to play games with each other... that are built into discord in and of itself. Honestly I think you should seriously just give it a try Ꮙℓἇ∂ἇ... if you've ever used old messengers in the day. This will feel very comfortable for you. MSN, Skype... yada yada yada. You do not have to pay if you do not want too. It is completely free to use, only pay for benefits.

For you I think the advantage would be RSS feed, which is by BOT generated list of all new activities on the elvenworld. Also that messages in chat are stored over 5 years, not 24 hours.

RSS has that advantage...

Probably if you have a smart phone sure...but if you dont its not gonna help at all...

Discord works well on phones too. (and phone users over-number those with PC concerning internet.)

And so its just the voice chat & video chat thats why it got opened and from a few recommendations only.. what about those who dont have those two things on their pc's..its not of any use to them then either...well good luck if thats what your after & it works for yah.

You're correct, there's literally nothing wrong with the site and it is active and well. Nothing is going to change really, at least as long as this site is being paid for.

I think the main advantage coming with discord is always accessible voice and vid chat on closed server reserved only for us.

Any site is only active when members participate and post blogs, discussions & comment on things others have posted..,nothing is gonna change if its not happening in here it certainly wont happen in any other place either..time to participate & constantly converse.

I dont understand,...whats wrong with the main chat room in here, whats wrong with this website fullstop, what difference does this other website mean to those who are already active in here anyway..to me its pointless and taking away activity in this site to somewhere else..
