Mythology, Mysticism and Magic: C. G. Jung, Artist, Mystic, Magician and Prophet

May you feel the Elven song within, hear the voice speaking from your heart. We are Tuatha de Danann, the children of Earth and stars together, faeries of a new dimension.
–T.E. Pelton, Elven World mythologies

It seems the Elven World gives us much more than community. The Celtic mythology that is revivified in Elven World, allows us to begin a transformative experience; filling our lives with magic and beauty that lifts us closer to the divine.

Dr. Stephan A. Hoeller, Ph.D is an eminent scholar on the subject of C. G. Jung’s Red Book, the mysterious work that was published in 2009– 48 years after Jung’s death. Carl Jung is primarily known as the founder of analytic psychology. Few know that Jungian psychology began with what Dr. Heoller calls a “psycho cosmology” that emerged directly from Jung’s work as an artist, visionary, philosopher and prophet.

Dr. Hoeller defines Jung as a prophet who told the truth of the Gods–that multi-dimensional transcendent power that animates our spiritual lives. The Red Book is an account of Jung’s transformational journey toward the divine using imagery and mythological messages from deep within his psyche. Rich with symbolic paintings and every word written in calligraphy by the Master himself, the Red Book is a profound artistic masterpiece.

A consummate student of the Red Book for many years, Dr Heoller is able to explain the meaning and messages within this work of art written by Carl Jung’s hand in Swiss German. The book is bright red. Fully opened it is and some 26 inches across and some 24 inches high. The Red Book is full of mystical, symbolic drawings that open a window to a universe within the soul of man.  Jung communicated his divine journey–which is the journey of any man–through his conversations with mythological creatures and supernatural beings. He predicted the coming of a new age through his words and paintings of visionary mandalas and creation of sacred icons.

Of this work Dr. Stephan A. Hoeller explained, “The magical is what feeds our soul. If you let it, life sinks to a level of blandness. Gray consciousness happens when all the magic is gone; all the imagination. A human being does not live by material things alone. Human beings can’t live without hope, spirit, poetry, beauty, and mythology. An absence of the magical makes life gray and bland. God is alive. Magic is alive.”

As Dr. Heoller tells us, the psycho cosmology expressed in Jung’s work tells of the divinity indwelling in the human being. When one has contact with that in dwelling entity, the joyful bliss for which we search, comes alive. Jung’s journey was a journey of transcendence to this divinity through the supernatural, magical, mystical and divine initiation; a change of consciousness toward a new beginning; toward the blissful ecstasy of living in the present.

We can feel very blessed that scholars such as Dr. Stephan Heoller Ph.D, can teach with  expressive truth, this interpretation of Jung as an artist, philosopher and mythologist that allows us to begin a transformative experience in our lives as magic and beauty lifts us.

Elven World is a new story in Celtic mythology. And our place in the Elven World is a transformative, magical journey to find the divine within and without, through mythological and artistic expression.

Love this :) Carl Jung and Joseph Cambell are my favourite reads for a wide look into mythology and finding our own creativity in new stories of the hero's journey. Living that Druid life for me is in the bardic inspiration and love of what we learn from mythology. Thanks for sharing. /|\

Multi Dimensional Reality

The world as you know it - all that you see, taste, feel and touch, comprises only about 5% of all of the stuff of the universe. The other 95% is what we have considered "nothing" or the "firmament"  or dark matter or the heavens or mystic Other Worlds. This 95% is multi-dimensional and consists of potential realities that may be perceived.

A single thought...a mere whisper, ...... barely upon a breeze that catches a spark... all is tinder before the firestorm... and yet.
ONLY that whisper
ONLY that thought
the world is forever changed beyond the fears and dreams of cardboard men.
Freedom and change starts within:
It is encouraged by truth and courage of people who love
Built by the respect of true beings standing as one before each other.
Lets us cross every man made borders
without fear stare into eyes and hearts of all our brothers and sisters: within our words without shouting,or force to hold each to our truths; and let us without fear freely share what works...
