Nature inspired arts, music, poetry, dance & song

Merry Meet! /|\

I’m a Canadian Bard :D That’s the best way to put it.

Poetry and love for nature has always paved my path to the spiritual life. I’m about 3 years in with a Native Shaman tradition group holding healing circles on Tuesday nights. This is my 1st year since getting into the OBOD Druid tradition and will be my 1st week here joining ElvenWorld.

The spiritual life for me is around seeing Spirit in Nature within Creator’s many forms. I really believe that music and mythology creates a lot of healing throughout our lessons in life here at Earth School as I’d describe it. On how I got into this > to say it began with books; the many spiritual groups I’ve come to know began at a backroom bookstore.

I’ve traveled though many great paths of books including Joseph Campbell’s myths, the Dali Lama’s wisdom, Gabrielle Roth’s Shamanic dance, Osho’s philosophies, and Silver RavenWolf’s books of Wicca. The wise ones that got me going on the Druid path include Isaac Bonewits, Philip Carr-Gomm, and the wonderful beautiful music of Damh The Bard.

The Cauldron Born by Damh The Bard > One song that really sums up the love and honoured privilege we have to communicate with the Elven and Faerie Realms. In learning the creative art of soul journey meditation, animals guides and faerie messages are some of the things I work with > and as a part of a meditation group we put out the good healing energy for those who need it.

I’m still a bit new to Celtic Mythology and get most of the goods from podcasts like Druidcast with its great music and interviews. I’m looking forward to getting to know myths / folklore from different traditions with many chats to come here. Also a big Wheel of the Year celebrator, I write poetry to share along with a few meditations on connecting to the moon energy.

I’m very glad to be here and will be checking in often, posting my thoughts, bardic poetry and a few healing prayers in times of need. Thanks to TE Locke and all at ElvenWorld / Faerieworlds making this site possible for connecting with new fellows :)

Bright Blessings /|\

Oh, this is so good.So very good....

Multi Dimensional Reality

The world as you know it - all that you see, taste, feel and touch, comprises only about 5% of all of the stuff of the universe. The other 95% is what we have considered "nothing" or the "firmament"  or dark matter or the heavens or mystic Other Worlds. This 95% is multi-dimensional and consists of potential realities that may be perceived.

A single thought...a mere whisper, ...... barely upon a breeze that catches a spark... all is tinder before the firestorm... and yet.
ONLY that whisper
ONLY that thought
the world is forever changed beyond the fears and dreams of cardboard men.
Freedom and change starts within:
It is encouraged by truth and courage of people who love
Built by the respect of true beings standing as one before each other.
Lets us cross every man made borders
without fear stare into eyes and hearts of all our brothers and sisters: within our words without shouting,or force to hold each to our truths; and let us without fear freely share what works...

The poetry of Mirabai

Spiritual Ascent in the poetry of MirabaiMirabai, also known as Meera Bai, is one of India’s most celebrated medieval poet-saints, whose spiritual journey through poetry has been cherished in the Bhakti tradition of Hinduism. Born into the Rajput royal family of Merta in Rajasthan around the early 16th century, Mirabai defied societal and familial expectations,…See More
