Artists Studio Tour | Irish Cottage Garden | Farm Life in Ireland | My Rural Life

"Hi dear friends! In today's video I'll be tackling a big studio clean and tidy after a very busy last few weeks creating my new collection. You can also help me in the cottage garden to plant out some new additions to the beds. Afterwards, we'll take a moment to unwind in the cool, calming woodlands by the stream, before embarking on yet more silage making for the second pit! Hope you enjoy this video, and please remember to hit the like and subscribe button for free, as this really helps the growth of my channel and allows me to continue to make content for everyone to enjoy." – Gillian x

Thanks for the invite, a lovely way to start my day...my art room is being restored too, yesterday I did the first coat of rose water pink on my little shelving unit, today the first wall will be emulsion and a new shelf made for the wall.

I loved this ladies channel, right up my alley as they say & so inspirational in so many ways...wish I had my own art room too, maybe in my next house lol..

Resonated with me too, and yes I hope you do have an art room Vlada...my art space was a gaming room for my son when he lived at home filled with lots of game machines, dvd's and electrical cables.  He only cleared the room at Christmas so it's an ongoing project to put it the way I want it

She aint a poor artist thats for sure, rather the opposite with a huge farm & house & garden like that...

My thought was it's a family farm, perhaps her fathers and it's passing down the line, it sure looks like a great place to be.

I've had a painting weekend and more work on the art room...it's really a breakfast room off the kitchen, so now I have a tablecloth on and a bowl of apples on the table ;)  I've been peeling loads of apples lately and making apple crumble, think I have most of the apples off the trees now and I've enjoyed the apples crumbles immensely!

Oh apple & rhubarb crumble is one of my  total favourites I make a lot of it too, a client has a huge rhubarb plant and he gives me a bunch of them every so often and I freeze it..as my plant got a bug and died on me,.. I make a nice spiced caramel apple cake that dosn't last long my mates seem to be able to sniff it out and come visiting and its gone the same day I make it lol.. we should have a cooking group in here, I will make one now I've thought of it..so we can share recipes.. send you a link..

ahh right could be mum's rhubarb plant got a bug too, it had produced lots of rhubarb for years then in the last couple of years it seems not to have grown well at all.

Funny thing Vlada, or probably not so unexpected but I was only talking to mum the other day about trying an apple sponge, used to make apple sponge quite a lot years ago.  Just had my afternoon's apple crumble....very nice ;)   I had some topping left from a couple of days ago, so I made a small crumble after dinner today, seemed to take less time to brown with the plant butter I used last time.

Oohh whats this plant butter you speak of? is it Nuttelex by any chance, I've been using that for years even though its a Australian product, but now that our Anchor normal butter costs a arm and a leg like its almost NZ$9.00 for 500gms which is so outrageous considering its made here from our cows own milk, I totally feel its a better substitute anyway for the price as it costs only NZ$3.50 for 375gms.

I've tried a couple of the plant butters as like you have found butter very pricey of late.  Here's the one I've tried from the milkman

£1.65 from the big supermarkets and £1.50 from the milkman

Ahh yes we have that here too, but still its way expensive in our supermarkets, so I stick with Nuttelix as the cheapest.. I cant figure why a plant based product can be just as expensive as a natural dairy product its insane right now.. I'm convinced all the supermarkets are just price gouging and they are getting away with it.

Just checked it out, no nuttelix in supermarkets here, it's a branded Australian product started up in 1932 in Melbourne

The brand I've been buying off and on for years is Clover spread

Yes Nuttelix it is an Australian Brand, thats why I cant believe its cheaper than our own cows butter here, we have a huge dairy industry, Anchor, Fontera & others and yet we pay way too much for all our dairy products, they export it to UK and you guys pay less for its insane...we dont have Clover here..

Multi Dimensional Reality

The world as you know it - all that you see, taste, feel and touch, comprises only about 5% of all of the stuff of the universe. The other 95% is what we have considered "nothing" or the "firmament"  or dark matter or the heavens or mystic Other Worlds. This 95% is multi-dimensional and consists of potential realities that may be perceived.

A single thought...a mere whisper, ...... barely upon a breeze that catches a spark... all is tinder before the firestorm... and yet.
ONLY that whisper
ONLY that thought
the world is forever changed beyond the fears and dreams of cardboard men.
Freedom and change starts within:
It is encouraged by truth and courage of people who love
Built by the respect of true beings standing as one before each other.
Lets us cross every man made borders
without fear stare into eyes and hearts of all our brothers and sisters: within our words without shouting,or force to hold each to our truths; and let us without fear freely share what works...
