A BLESSING FOR THE SENSES FROM THE ANAM CARA BY JOHN O'DONOHUE

May your body be blessed
May you realize that your body is a faithful and beautiful friend of your soul
And may you be peaceful and joyful and recognize that your senses are sacred thresholds
May you realize that holiness is mindful gazing, feeling, hearing and touching
May your senses gather you and bring you home
May your senses always enable you to celebrate the universe and the mystery and possibilities in your presence here
May the Eros of the Earth bless you

Beannacht
("Blessing")

On the day when
the weight deadens
on your shoulders
and you stumble,
may the clay dance
to balance you.

And when your eyes
freeze behind
the grey window
and the ghost of loss
gets in to you,
may a flock of colours,
indigo, red, green,
and azure blue
come to awaken in you
a meadow of delight.

When the canvas frays
in the currach of thought
and a stain of ocean
blackens beneath you,
may there come across the waters
a path of yellow moonlight
to bring you safely home.

May the nourishment of the earth be yours,
may the clarity of light be yours,
may the fluency of the ocean be yours,
may the protection of the ancestors be yours.
And so may a slow
wind work these words
of love around you,
an invisible cloak
to mind your life.

“When you send that love out from the bountifulness of your own love, it reaches other people. This love is the deepest power of prayer.”

A Blessing from the book Anam Cara by John O'Donohue

May the light of your soul guide you

May the light of your soul bless the work you do with the secret love and warmth of your heart

May you see in what you do the beauty of your own soul

May the sacredness of your work bring healing, light and renewal to those who work with you and to those who see and receive your work

May your work never weary you

May it release within you wellsprings of refreshment, inspiration and excitement

May you be present in what you do

May you never become lost in the bland absences

May the day never burden

May dawn find you awake and alert, approaching your new day with dreams, possibilities and promises

May evening find you gracious and fulfilled

May you go into the night blessed, sheltered and protected

May your soul calm console and renew you

Anam Cara – a Book of Truth, Beauty and Integrity - Soulful Growing

Oliver Wakeman - Anam Cara (CD)

"When someone encourages you, that person helps you over a threshold you might otherwise never have crossed on your own. There are times of great uncertainty in every life. Left alone at such a time, you feel dishevelment and confusion like gravity. When a friend comes with words of encouragement, a light and lightness visit you and you begin to find the stairs and the door out of the dark. The sense of encouragement you feel from the friend is not simply her words or gestures; it is rather her whole presence enfolding you and helping you find the concealed door. The encouraging presence manages to understand you and put herself in your shoes. There is no judgment but words of relief and release."

~John O'Donohue

"The word kindness has a gentle sound that seems to echo the presence of compassionate goodness. When someone is kind to you, you feel understood and seen. There is no judgment or harsh perception directed toward you. Kindness has gracious eyes; it is not small-minded or competitive; it wants nothing back for itself. Kindness strikes a resonance with the depths of your own heart; it also suggests that your vulnerability, though somehow exposed, is not taken advantage of; rather, it has become an occasion for dignity and empathy. Kindness casts a different light, an evening light that has the depth of color and patience to illuminate what is complex and rich in difference.

Despite all the darkness, human hope is based on the instinct that at the deepest level of reality some intimate kindness holds sway. This is the heart of blessing. To believe in blessing is to believe that our being here, our very presence in the world, is itself the first gift, the primal blessing.

-John O'Donohue

Probably change the world just repeating this word kindness

Used as a daily mantra perhaps Tara

Multi Dimensional Reality

The world as you know it - all that you see, taste, feel and touch, comprises only about 5% of all of the stuff of the universe. The other 95% is what we have considered "nothing" or the "firmament"  or dark matter or the heavens or mystic Other Worlds. This 95% is multi-dimensional and consists of potential realities that may be perceived.

A single thought...a mere whisper, ...... barely upon a breeze that catches a spark... all is tinder before the firestorm... and yet.
ONLY that whisper
ONLY that thought
the world is forever changed beyond the fears and dreams of cardboard men.
Freedom and change starts within:
It is encouraged by truth and courage of people who love
Built by the respect of true beings standing as one before each other.
Lets us cross every man made borders
without fear stare into eyes and hearts of all our brothers and sisters: within our words without shouting,or force to hold each to our truths; and let us without fear freely share what works...
