what’s going on? Does anyone know? I tried to search it up but got sidetracked… I wish they would check out under the fairy mounds of Tara next!,

Archaeologists had known since 1916 that some holes lurked underground. They suspected they were small sinkholes. Or maybe they had once been shallow ponds to water cattle. Ground-penetrating radar now has revealed that these were no cattle ponds. Each hole goes down five meters (16.4 feet) and spans 20 meters (65.6 feet) across. So far 20 holes have been found. These are, researchers now think, part of one of the biggest Neolithic monuments in Europe.

Researchers from the University of Bradford in England made the discovery. They were part of a Stonehenge Hidden Landscapes Project. This is a partnership of several universities and research organizations. A paper describing their find was published June 21 in the online journal Internet Archaeology.

Analysis of the remains has shown that they represent more than 50 people, both male and female and of various ages. These people were buried at Stonehenge between about 3000 and 2800 BC.

Land surrounding the site of what was once an ancient village in Great Britain turned up a huge surprise: massive underground shafts. Surrounding the town, the formation has a diameter of more than two kilometers (1.2 miles). Each hole has straight sides and is filled with loose soil.

The shafts date to a time known as the Neolithic, or late Stone Age. They were dug more than 4,500 years ago near another ancient site of far greater fame — Stonehenge. Over the millennia, the shafts filled with dirt and became overgrown. From the surface, you wouldn’t know they were there.

Fascinating.  It’s so exciting to make these discoveries!

The phrase "under the fair mounds of Tara" refers to the archaeological and mythological depths of the
Hill of Tara (Teamhair) in County Meath, Ireland. As the ancient seat of the High Kings of Ireland for over 5,000 years, Tara is not just a geographical landmark, but a sacred complex filled with, and surrounded by, numerous grassy mounds and earthworks that hide prehistoric burial chambers, ritual sites, and ancient monuments
Here is what lies beneath and within these mounds
The Mound of the Hostages (Dumha na nGiall)
The most significant structure is a Neolithic passage tomb dating back to around 3200 BC—predating the pyramids of Egypt.
  • Burials: Excavations in the 1950s revealed the cremated remains of over 300 individuals.
  • The "Tara Boy": The last burial in this mound was a young teenage boy from the Bronze Age (c. 1350 BC), found with a necklace of faience beads, which suggests links to Egyptian or Mediterranean cultures.
  • Alignment: The passage is oriented to catch the first light of the sun during the ancient festivals of Samhain (November) and Imbolc (February), indicating its role in marking the Celtic calendar and, traditionally, as a portal to the Otherworld.

Mythological and Magical Significance
  • Seat of Sovereignty: According to legend, the hill is named after Tea, a queen buried on the site. The mounds were seen as the dwelling place of the Tuatha Dé Danann (god-like people) and the entrance to the fairy realm.
  • The Lia Fáil (Stone of Destiny): Located within the Forradh (Royal Enclosure), this standing stone was the coronation stone for Ireland’s High Kings, said to "roar" when touched by the true rightful king.
  • The Fairy Tree: A lone hawthorn tree stands on the hill, often adorned with ribbons and gifts for the fairies (Aos Sí). It is considered a portal to the spiritual wor
Buried Archaeology
  • Woodhenge: Recent, non-intrusive surveys have discovered that below the surface lie the foundations of a huge timber henge (or "Woodhenge").
  • Rath of the Synods (Ráth na Seanaidh): A series of circular, multi-layered earthen embankments, where excavations in the 19th and 20th centuries yielded Roman objects, suggesting high-level trade or diplomatic interaction.
  • Unexcavated Layers: While over 30 monuments are visible, it is estimated that the vast majority of Tara’s secrets remain unexcavated under the earth
  •
The mounds continue to represent a "thin place" in Irish tradition, where the barrier between the human, the divine, and the dead is very thin.

Multi Dimensional Reality

The world as you know it - all that you see, taste, feel and touch, comprises only about 5% of all of the stuff of the universe. The other 95% is what we have considered "nothing" or the "firmament"  or dark matter or the heavens or mystic Other Worlds. This 95% is multi-dimensional and consists of potential realities that may be perceived.

A single thought...a mere whisper, ...... barely upon a breeze that catches a spark... all is tinder before the firestorm... and yet.
ONLY that whisper
ONLY that thought
the world is forever changed beyond the fears and dreams of cardboard men.
Freedom and change starts within:
It is encouraged by truth and courage of people who love
Built by the respect of true beings standing as one before each other.
Lets us cross every man made borders
without fear stare into eyes and hearts of all our brothers and sisters: within our words without shouting,or force to hold each to our truths; and let us without fear freely share what works...
