I've never been,,, but I've wanted to go since childhood.I'm thinking of going to the Highland games here in Seattle this year. :-)

Question; have you any experiences/past-life memories/intuitions about Faery/ or the Sidhe? By the way-- you should check out the Scottish painter John Duncan. I think you'd like his work. :-)

Fun pic!
I'm Irish!   From the land of the Tuatha de Dannan.  I've just finished reading about the Tuatha de Dannan and wanted to find out more about this ancient civilisation.  I was lead here...............
My Gran was from Galway,an Irish seer. I have worked with the Tuatha always and they with me. Nice to meet you

Hey there

Cool.  Where do you live?  When you say your worked with the Tuatha, what does that mean?  I'm a bit of a novice with regard to where you guys are at.  I actually live in Ireland.  South of Ireland.  The land of Yeats, the famous Poet. William Butler Yeats spent alot of his life travelling around Ireland collecting stories on Fairy Folklore and the Tuatha De Dannan so that the legends and traditions would not be lost forever.  I've always made a point to have those stories in my head so that I can pass them on to my niece who is still very little.I've finished reading alot of the stories which tie in with alot of the mystical esoteric lore I've studies in the past.  These stories and traditions (some still practiced today in parts of Ireland) are only preserved in very few books of which Yeats is one of the primary collectors.

I'm still researching (with difficulty) and trying to trace the Tuatha de Dannan and its experiences here in Ireland.  Many Irish people are healers & seers.  They just don't talk about it that way.  They speak of the seventh son of a seventh son and they use the light of christ as part of their healings.  However, many of the rituals and traditions are pre christian still.

I'd like to know more about how you work with Tuatha de Dannan.  Did you know there is a great musical group called De Dannan here and their music is very celtic & ancient.

G.

TUATHA DEA? They are good friends of mine.......they are in Tennessee,so a different one,I guess. i live in Virginnia. I have followed a path of Scottish witchery always. It is in my Scottish Clan Gordon and family. My Irish side was from Gran. i was brought up on a FEY tradition. I dream the dreams and know what i know. You may want to read DRUID MAGICK by Maya Sutton and FAEIRIECRAFT by Alicien Geddes-Ward from Orkney. I connect with the warrior Fey. they are powerful spiritual entities ,that work with my magick and spellworkings. Before the Tuatha were the Great Fey race,we believe they were the Irish Warriors of Olde ,in the physical form. There is much history about the Tuatha de Danaan,in most Celtic lore books. Good fortune in your search. I do not get here,on this cite too much. My group is FEISTY WITCHES,on Pagan Space.net and you are welcome to join.

Clan Boyd.

Boidh is a variation of it that I like so I am using that on this site.

My dad has done a whole family tree on both sides of my family, and I have more Scottish in me than anything.

Boyd means "fair" or "yellow" and I think our people were from the Isle of Bute.

Many people on my father's side are animists. We celebrate both Native American beliefs and there's a quiet but enduring interest in the Celts. When my dad wanted to give me a pendant to remember him by, he suggested Celtic jewelry.. which.. he hardly mentions his Celtic roots [and I only just started to realize that the Celts were animists and feel a calling to home] so it is interesting to me.

Multi Dimensional Reality

The world as you know it - all that you see, taste, feel and touch, comprises only about 5% of all of the stuff of the universe. The other 95% is what we have considered "nothing" or the "firmament"  or dark matter or the heavens or mystic Other Worlds. This 95% is multi-dimensional and consists of potential realities that may be perceived.

A single thought...a mere whisper, ...... barely upon a breeze that catches a spark... all is tinder before the firestorm... and yet.
ONLY that whisper
ONLY that thought
the world is forever changed beyond the fears and dreams of cardboard men.
Freedom and change starts within:
It is encouraged by truth and courage of people who love
Built by the respect of true beings standing as one before each other.
Lets us cross every man made borders
without fear stare into eyes and hearts of all our brothers and sisters: within our words without shouting,or force to hold each to our truths; and let us without fear freely share what works...

Insight Timer ~ Guided Meditations for phone Apps

I've been using Insight Timer, linked below.  It's an App I have on my phone that gives access to Guided Meditations.  I'm finding it useful for short meditations, they range from 5 mins to 10mins, some longer but so far I haven't tried out longer meditations.  The meditations are varied and there are many teachers, meditators and people that offer courses.  The App is free as are the meditations.  The App was already installed on my Motorola phone it has a little brass singing bowl as its…See More
