ElvenWorld Adventures Star Travelers: Mystical Nature

Soul Journeys in the Multiverse - Nature, Metaphysics, Mythology & The Arts

As someone who is a psychic vampire, I am so frustrated at how we are always portrayed as evil and a force to be protected against, even by all the `love and light` new agers. Rather we should be celebrated for our psychic gifts and magical abilities. Does anyone else agree/disagree?

Very true Morell, but draining someone of energy is like draining someone of blood. Small amounts isn't too bad but too much can be lethal.
and like my hub does to me-over time it can be damaging and cause illness:(. There are other postive ways to get energy-vamps needs to work on that:))))

You have good heart. Vapires can replace this energy by alternative for some part, but that thirst, or bloodlust, is part of who we are and there are times, when we cannot replace it, in a way we don't even want. It is part of our nature, without it we would lack part of ourselves.

My understanding (meaning, not my own experience as a vampire since I am not one, but from my experience with my sometimes-vampy husband and what I have heard from speaking with vamps) also is that it needs to come from people, particularly, to be "digestible", nourishing, similar to how the human body is not set up to digest grasses or tree leaves the way that cows/sheep/etc. can. To take too much from a single person, whether shortly or over time, can be damaging, yes.

This is a thing easy to say and harder to do, but it is possible to find people who generate more energy than they need, from whom it is safer to take (maybe even more healthful for them). A willing donor who doesn't fall into that category, yes, they need to be careful - have more donors, or that person needs to find some other way to regenerate.

Wow, looks like I can learn here things about myself, cool. I love how this dicussion is going.

Thinking of digestability of energy, it doesn't have to be human energy, althouh it tends to be the best choice for the most. It is actualy very interesting to experiment with other races.

I really love energy of magical living elf, my guide, Melkor's good too... but I really did not enjoy the archangel. I tend to laugh at it that I drank from archangel, but when you ask politely, miracles tend to happen, lol! But no, it wasn't whatsoever good. Filed with very bright light it made me feel very bad as I preffer shadow and felt like exposed under very strong lamp...

Multi Dimensional Reality

The world as you know it - all that you see, taste, feel and touch, comprises only about 5% of all of the stuff of the universe. The other 95% is what we have considered "nothing" or the "firmament"  or dark matter or the heavens or mystic Other Worlds. This 95% is multi-dimensional and consists of potential realities that may be perceived.

A single thought...a mere whisper, ...... barely upon a breeze that catches a spark... all is tinder before the firestorm... and yet.
ONLY that whisper
ONLY that thought
the world is forever changed beyond the fears and dreams of cardboard men.
Freedom and change starts within:
It is encouraged by truth and courage of people who love
Built by the respect of true beings standing as one before each other.
Lets us cross every man made borders
without fear stare into eyes and hearts of all our brothers and sisters: within our words without shouting,or force to hold each to our truths; and let us without fear freely share what works...

Li Shangyin ~ Poet of the Tang Dynasty

Li Shangyin (李商隐; ca. 813–858), courtesy name Yishan (义山), was a Chinese poet of the late Tang Dynasty, born in Henei (now Qinyang, Henan). Along with Li He, he was much admired and “rediscovered” in the 20th century by the young Chinese writers for the imagist quality of his poems. He is particularly famous for his tantalizing “no title” (无题) poems.Li had a moderately…See More
