Elven Star Travelers: Mystical Nature

Soul Journeys in the Multiverse - Nature, Metaphysics, Mythology & The Arts

I've spoken a couple of times here about an event for elven, faery, and whatever other-kindreds called MythiCalia that I used to run (it is on indefinite hiatus after cancelling in 2012, short of lucking into a really good private site - leads are appreciated)... I just wanted to mention that I also organize a local monthly meetup via meetup.com, which has been more or less continuous since September 2011 (a missed month here or there). If you live in the area or will be visiting, you can check it out here: http://www.meetup.com/SFBayOtherkin/

We usually meet on alternating second Saturdays and second Sundays, moving to different locations around the bay so that everyone can have a chance to have one closer to them at least once in a while. Our July meetup in Santa Clara has been moved to July 19th since my husband and I will be in Canada on the usual date. See http://www.meetup.com/SFBayOtherkin/events/159859082/ for details on that.

Oh wow, I didn't realize it had been so long since I posted this! Well, the meetup is still going, although since Meetup.com changed their pricing structure a few years ago, I moved the info page onto a page and mailing list on my own website:

San Francisco Bay Otherkin Meetup

Announcement mailing list

Average attendance at each event is about 5 people, although we have had as many as 8 recently (and as many as 10 back around 2012).

Our schedule is still alternating second Saturdays (odd months) and second Sundays (even months except February, superseded by the 'Kin-Meet at PantheaCon). The June meetup will be in Mountain View. In July or August we will possibly be meeting in the north bay so that we meet approximately in the middle with a friend from Clear Lake.

Must be really cool to be there.

Multi Dimensional Reality

The world as you know it - all that you see, taste, feel and touch, comprises only about 5% of all of the stuff of the universe. The other 95% is what we have considered "nothing" or the "firmament"  or dark matter or the heavens or mystic Other Worlds. This 95% is multi-dimensional and consists of potential realities that may be perceived.

A single thought...a mere whisper, ...... barely upon a breeze that catches a spark... all is tinder before the firestorm... and yet.
ONLY that whisper
ONLY that thought
the world is forever changed beyond the fears and dreams of cardboard men.
Freedom and change starts within:
It is encouraged by truth and courage of people who love
Built by the respect of true beings standing as one before each other.
Lets us cross every man made borders
without fear stare into eyes and hearts of all our brothers and sisters: within our words without shouting,or force to hold each to our truths; and let us without fear freely share what works...
