Musings for the Solstice ~ The Uplifter

Musings For The Solstice

The solstice – whether summer or winter – is a powerful time

for reflection. It marks a turning point in the dance

of the Earth and the Sun;

a deeply symbolic moment that invites insights, renewal,

and perhaps, most essentially,

a time to simply pause.

The following musings can be embraced as meditative explorations,

themes for meaningful conversations, or expanded into journal entries,

as we lean into celebrating the solstice together.

On Cycles

The solstice reminds us that every ending sows the seeds for a new beginning.

The wheel turns, undeniably and inevitably.

The summer solstice asks what you’re ready to grow.

The winter solstice asks what you’re ready to let rest.

Let this be a time to trust the cycle you’re in,

even if what is new and unfolding

in your life is a mystery.

On Presence

The solstice is a moment to simply be.

Not to strive, not to achieve.

But to simply look around and notice what’s around you:

the angle of the light, the height of the Sun in the sky,

the truth of now.

The solstice is not a goal, but a gift and an invitation

to be fully present.

On Appreciation

The longest day, the longest night – both are appreciated.

One illuminates, the other deepens.

One reveals the fullness of the other.

Can we embrace both ends of the spectrum and recognize

the gifts of insight that both bring to our lives?

On Stillness

The solstice is a pause -

the Sun holds its breath at the peak of light

or the edge of darkness.

We, too, are invited to be still.

In this moment, nothing is rushed.

The Earth gently enters its new cycle,

and so might we.

On Time

The solstice doesn’t come with fireworks. It’s subtle.

The change is invisible to the eye, but happens, nonetheless.

So, it is with our lives —

transitions and transformations often begin

in quiet, imperceptible ways.

On Nature

The solstice reminds us that nature is a profound teacher and mirror.

Trees teach us about rootedness and resilience.

Rivers show us how to flow around obstacles.

The sky reminds us of vastness and possibilities.

Decay and rebirth in forests echo our own

physical and emotional renewal.

So, take some time to breathe in the solstice.

Each breath sustains us through the rhythm, meaning,

and deep alignment with nature’s cycles;

a nourishment for our soul

and a reminder that we are part of a greater whole,

held in the vast turning of the Earth,

the Sun, and the cosmos.

Multi Dimensional Reality

The world as you know it - all that you see, taste, feel and touch, comprises only about 5% of all of the stuff of the universe. The other 95% is what we have considered "nothing" or the "firmament"  or dark matter or the heavens or mystic Other Worlds. This 95% is multi-dimensional and consists of potential realities that may be perceived.

A single thought...a mere whisper, ...... barely upon a breeze that catches a spark... all is tinder before the firestorm... and yet.
ONLY that whisper
ONLY that thought
the world is forever changed beyond the fears and dreams of cardboard men.
Freedom and change starts within:
It is encouraged by truth and courage of people who love
Built by the respect of true beings standing as one before each other.
Lets us cross every man made borders
without fear stare into eyes and hearts of all our brothers and sisters: within our words without shouting,or force to hold each to our truths; and let us without fear freely share what works...
