ATLANTIS: The Geological Evidence

What if the legend of Atlantis isn’t a myth, but a geological event written in stone, sediment, and diatoms buried beneath the Atlantic?

In this groundbreaking interview, I sit down with Irish geologist Joseph O’Donoghue, author of The Legend of Atlantis and the Science of Geology, to explore evidence that challenges everything we’ve been taught about Earth’s past.

Joe reveals findings that mainstream academia refuses to confront, from freshwater diatoms and grass pollen found on the Atlantic seabed (proof of land that once existed there) to volcanic rock that could only have formed above water, now lying two miles below the surface.

According to his research, around 11,700 years ago, a cosmic impact ended the Ice Age and sent Atlantis and much of early civilization to the ocean floor.

We also dive into why orthodox geology resists this truth, how it connects to global flood legends, and what it might mean for humanity’s future if such catastrophes are cyclical.

Dr Ioannis Syrigos' guest: Joseph O'Donoghue, geologist, author, and academic heretic.

His claim: Atlantis was a geological event, and the evidence is hiding in plain sight.

Over 54 minutes, Joe walks through evidence that mainstream geology refuses to acknowledge:

🔹 Freshwater organisms pulled from the Atlantic seafloor (1947 Swedish expedition)—proving land existed there in recent geological time

🔹 Volcanic rocks that only form in open air, retrieved from 2 miles beneath the ocean surface

🔹 Massive boulder deposits across Greece that gentle ocean currents could never move—pointing to catastrophic flooding

🔹 400+ flood legends from cultures separated by oceans, all describing the same cataclysm

But perhaps most revealing is Joe's explanation of why academia won't engage with this evidence:

"If you allow catastrophes in the past, you shorten geological time. If you don't need vast ages for geology, you don't have them for Darwinism. Everything changes."

This is the kind of straight-shooting, forward-thinking conversation you subscribed for—no gatekeeping, no sacred cows, just evidence and honest inquiry.

But yes many things are coming forward these days, I think the internet has a good platform for sharing what others are finding out too..social media has the monopoly as everyone knows people are on it on a daily process ,reading, watching & learning..

Multi Dimensional Reality

The world as you know it - all that you see, taste, feel and touch, comprises only about 5% of all of the stuff of the universe. The other 95% is what we have considered "nothing" or the "firmament"  or dark matter or the heavens or mystic Other Worlds. This 95% is multi-dimensional and consists of potential realities that may be perceived.

A single thought...a mere whisper, ...... barely upon a breeze that catches a spark... all is tinder before the firestorm... and yet.
ONLY that whisper
ONLY that thought
the world is forever changed beyond the fears and dreams of cardboard men.
Freedom and change starts within:
It is encouraged by truth and courage of people who love
Built by the respect of true beings standing as one before each other.
Lets us cross every man made borders
without fear stare into eyes and hearts of all our brothers and sisters: within our words without shouting,or force to hold each to our truths; and let us without fear freely share what works...

Li Shangyin ~ Poet of the Tang Dynasty

Li Shangyin (李商隐; ca. 813–858), courtesy name Yishan (义山), was a Chinese poet of the late Tang Dynasty, born in Henei (now Qinyang, Henan). Along with Li He, he was much admired and “rediscovered” in the 20th century by the young Chinese writers for the imagist quality of his poems. He is particularly famous for his tantalizing “no title” (无题) poems.Li had a moderately…See More
