Yeah, it is funny. I like that the real exploring of spiritual realms is still existing and well among some groups.
Oh its a terminology of his own that he used in the book to describe the astral realm itself LOl..see how English can be read totally the wrong way.funny..
Oh, my bad, it isn't Disney land, but Disney ride. (not that much difference) And it's from the book. I'll copy the part for you where it is mentioned:
Here I need to put in a word or twenty on the nature of reality, and of these alternate worlds. A guided meditation, as we’ll go into in the next chapter, is not the same as journeying. That doesn’t mean that when people do a guided meditation together, they aren’t going anywhere but their own heads. They might be going somewhere in their own heads, or they might be visiting a a kind of archetypal world-space that seems to exist as a cosmic construct attached to the collective unconscious. This cosmic construct, like a Star Trek holodeck, is sensitive to those who touch it, and can become a kind of idealized facsimile of wherever it is that they are trying to go, be it Asgard or Brooklyn. Most people who go there realize suddenly that they’re somewhere besides their own heads—wow!—and decide that they are really, truly in Asgard or Olympus or wherever it was that they were trying to go. This can happen with early attempts at journeying, too. In fact, some people never get beyond this place.
The problem is that it’s not really Asgard or Olympus or even Brooklyn. Going there is rather like going to Disney’s Epcot Center World Showcase and then saying that you’ve been to China, Italy, and Mexico. In fact, those of us who worldwalk regularly refer to it as “the Disney ride”. In a Disney ride, everyone speaks your language, is friendly and helpful, wants to make sure that you have a good time, and never tries to kill you. If you throw popcorn at the waving god puppets, the worst that will happen is that you might get bounced out.
...
Many books on shamanism stress that world-walking is entirely safe, or mostly safe as long as you don’t go into those nasty areas, which will of course be clearly marked in a way that a modern Westerner will find symbolically meaningful. When I read or hear this, I have to assume that they’re all on the Disney ride. Not that there’s anything wrong with that; the Disney ride is put there for a reason. I’d rather have ugly Americans being ignorant and obnoxious at the China World Showcase than in Beijing, and I’d rather have seekers trying to enrich their lives and learn more about themselves during guided meditation to the “archetypal spiritual holodeck”, as a friend put it, than actually bothering real nonhuman individuals on their own territory.
I've never heard of that terminology 'Astral Disneyland' before at all Morell that's a new one on me lol.. nor is it on google search even well not here in NZ. Besides what you say about it is not entirely truth either, as everything that ones own soul consciousness can envisage or another term 'condure up' in consciousness is real, the word or term 'Imagination' is actually used to shut down consciousness & mean something is not real for it to be spoken of or seen..where as nothing can be unreal in the Astral realms everything exists as it is created and envisaged therefor comes real to the creator of it, as there are many celestial spheres outside of the human body,as there are light realms & dark realms, and thus even life after death..plus add to this the theory of a mass of dimensional realms which is a vast expanse in the parallel universe and the many you's within it...just adding more than my 5cents into the mix..hhahhaha
I think it is cool to give new creative bits to the knowledge, but it must be something worth it and helping to expand the understanding. For example ma favorite bit is Astral Disneyland.
Astral Disneyland is term defined by astral travelers describing place where people move their mind when doing meditative imagination. Because it is safe place, where they can experience things, it feels away from their body, somewhere else, but it is not true astral realm, which can be very dangerous. Also the beings there are rarely real. This area is safe to visit and experience, therefore it was named after amusement park.
Good point Morell yes and this is how people can get confused from conflicting information from these people who think its cool to add their own creative bits around ancient workings & info, but in doing so they actually can taint its effects as well..see Tara what that person was probably meaning was they were calling another name for the deathless spirit, Atman. Atman is the transcendental self, or spirit & is not a Guru which is eternal and superconscious. Atman is said to be our one true nature or identity and our most inner self. In Hindu, Atman is said to be the individual soul and the innermost deep part of all living things. The human body itself can age, die and wither but the Atman will continue to live always moving forward from one body to the next,as a soul in other words & its immortal & continues to evolve until it reaches Brahman. Each person’s Atman I said to be a part of the universal Brahman which is believed to be the ultimate Reality.
The issue with lot of new age stuff is that they take a small bit and build up with their own creativity around it. It works to certain extend, but it still works only to certain extend, while seeking the roots can get one way further. But it's a lot ow work to do. For the starters a lot can be discovered by using Google.
Hmm yes I was watched a meditation where the meditator chanted Amrita guru to call upon this essence. But no other details! What you are saying is more enlightening. It makes sense that life force energy is a nectar and we are like bees to sip of it. I hope to learn more!
Can you share where you got this info from about this 'door of Arja' & Amrita being a Guru?, I'm interested as its of my understanding Amrita is a substance that your body excretes via Prana & not a Guru?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amrita..The word means “nectar” and also “immortal” in Sanskrit. It is a substance which is produced by the human body once the flow of kundalini through the central channel becomes strong.
Sexual fluids and essences are drawn up into the bladder through a process called “natural vajroli”. From here prana from these essences rises up to the manipura chakra and mixes with other pranas there. This is the reason that the manipura chakra is sometimes called “the cauldron” in other traditions.
A substance called soma is produced as a result of this mixing of the pranas and this is drawn up through the body into the head. Soma is also an etheric substance (non-physical), so it travels through the system of subtle energetic pathways which comprise the pranic body. Once it reaches the head it is transformed into Amrita. The Amrita can then trickle down into the mouth where it can be tasted.
Amrita can also bubble up through the higher chakras, especially the crown, the third eye and a chakra on the top back of the head, called the bindu chakra. When the Amrita comes out of the higher chakras it will then trickle down the head and face. It feels like drops of oil, or honey, as it comes down. The Amrita is then reabsorbed into the subtle neurobiology to be reused. It is a very blissful and intoxicating experience and is one of the fruits of yoga.
Brahmacharya is an important aspect in the production of Amrita, as the loss of sexual fluids and energy though sexual activity can inhibit its production.
Yes, I learned about door of Anja where you can meditate for Amrita Guru, the divine nectar, and honor the essence of life itself. I love the flower’s colors and essence like chakras, love them so much! Ha ha we are like little bees.
The world as you know it - all that you see, taste, feel and touch, comprises only about 5% of all of the stuff of the universe. The other 95% is what we have considered "nothing" or the "firmament" or dark matter or the heavens or mystic Other Worlds. This 95% is multi-dimensional and consists of potential realities that may be perceived.
A single thought...a mere whisper, ...... barely upon a breeze that catches a spark... all is tinder before the firestorm... and yet.
ONLY that whisper
ONLY that thought
the world is forever changed beyond the fears and dreams of cardboard men.
Freedom and change starts within:
It is encouraged by truth and courage of people who love
Built by the respect of true beings standing as one before each other.
Lets us cross every man made borders
without fear stare into eyes and hearts of all our brothers and sisters: within our words without shouting,or force to hold each to our truths; and let us without fear freely share what works...
