My name is Marianne, and I would like to invite you to Nidlongdir. Nidlongdir is a fairy realm I discovered in my garden. The word Nidlongdir is the fairies word for world, so they all live in Nidlongdir. There are two fractions of fairies in Nidlongdir, there are The Apple Fairies, ruled from Apple Hold Castle by a king and queen. Most of The Apple Fairies live in Leafenheim City. The other fraction of fairies is the Dragonians. The Dragonians live… Continue

My name is Marianne and my fairy name is Ranunkel. I was born in Denmark in 1962 where I still live.
The only person in my family who truly believed in fairies and gnomes was my grandmother. As a child she asked me to bring stew and beer to the gnome living in the stable. She told me that if we didn't bring him food the pigs in the stable would become ill and die. I also remember one time when she got mad because my dad was supposed to help my granddad to cut down some trees… Continue

Tara Hill is the spiritual capital of Ireland and is a major cultural and historical monument beloved by people all over the world.
Tara was a center of civilization seven thousand years ago. When you consider that the oldest Egyptian tomb is 5,000 years old, the magnitude of Tara’s historical significance can be better understood.
In April, 2009 scientists unearthed a wooden monument of the size and magnitude of Stonehenge at Tara Hill.
Tara Hill was the seat… Continue

Children of the Earth goddess
Whose voices echo from ages past
Are you buried under heavy mounds
Of grass and stone?
Or do you live among us?
How may we learn your magic?
Tuatha dé Danann in Gaelic means “tribe or children of the Goddess Danu.” Danu is the Earth or Earth Goddess.
People of this race are Elven or Fae.
It is known that their civilization flourished on Earth thousands of years ago. Yet there is… Continue

Well, I am feeling somewhat tired, and I have to say it did take it out of me this weekend. But boy, was it worth it!!!
There was nothing more magical, more special, more that I could have wanted for our wedding. It was perfect! ^_^
Just as I left my parent's house, with my father the sun dipped behind some clouds and it started to rain slightly, and by the time we got to the botanical gardens where the ceremony was being held it had become pretty heavy… Continue

We ventured out on the highways yesterday, the Fourth of July for the first time in many years. It was an interesting trip as we observed the best in humanity on the roadways. People were driving way too fast, cutting others off and going along their merry way to destinations unknown. My Faery Friends laugh at our behavior and they shake their little heads in disgust and distain for what we have become. Don't get them wrong, they love us greatly, even more than they are willing to admit at… Continue

Faeries or the Fae as some call us still have many lessons to learn by our own admission. We love in many different ways, We get jealous and at times angry but this does not make us, as some would believe in league with Satan. If anything, Humankind is more in line with the devil, especially those of certain belief systems that would criticize others for their beliefs in the name of Jesus. If Humans live as they could read, each other’s thoughts then Humankind would be in a much better… Continue

Tom Bombadil is one of my favorite characters from the Lord of the Rings, and I was sad to see him left out of the films. His wife Goldberry was a river daughter who Tom met one summers day when he was dangling his beard in the River Withywindle where she lived with her mother. She pulled him in and apparently stole his heart, for he eventually took her home to be his bride.
"Down along under Hill, shining in the… Continue
