My wedding ring has arrived!!!
So it's only the one at the moment...but at least that's one down and only one to go!!!
Well technically it's three down and one to go! I'm afraid being a typical faery I got distracted by all the beautiful sparkly things and so couldn't make my mind up. So I ordered 3 rings and am now currently sat with all 3, trying them on and then changing them around and seeing which one I like most with my engagement ring....LMAO!
I hope this means Chris's ring will be available soon… Continue

This morning is Sunday, June 14, 2009. Silk paintings...
So...I was getting more than a little frustrated with myself yesterday.
I had a great idea some months ago, to make myself and my bridesmaid (my sister) a pashmina/shawl made from very fine silk, which I was intending to handpaint with some butterfly designs and then sew on silk flowers and embellish them with small sequins and beads.
I designed them and they looked great, fairly simplistic on paper and compared to things I have designed and made in the past VERY… Continue

dream of faery passport
I dreamed that a small dark haired person gave me a fairy passport. It was a set of transparent wings, like a dragon flys that could be added to my normal passport. Be careful, she said, dont fold them otherwise you will make them ineffective. When I woke up, i found a large crane fly on my fountain in the bed room. It had the same kind of wings.

dream about a giant
last night i dreamed I was in another world - somehow more random and magical than this one. A large animal, maybe like a mink or creature like that (will try to find a picture and identify it - maybe it was a large polecat or wolverine, because it had a mask on its face), went into a hollow branch of a tree and travel through it. All Things Are Precious
In an earlier post, I shared that vivid encounter given to me last May with that Faery Being looking at me with compassion while she was resting in a section of my hair. So, we've finally ordered our wedding rings ^_^ YAY!
Phew...I was starting to get a bit worried about them, but I've been assured they should be with us soon.
I've made a start on a few other bits and pieces that need doing before the big day - just the last little finishing touches really, which is good as I am having a bad flare at the moment, so I am having to take things slowly and very gently. In the park in my city there is an old oak tree that grows downward, instead of up to the sun.
Like a grandmother picking up children to place them on her knees, the heavy limbs of that tree's bark is worn smooth by children who climb her day after day year after year.

Dragonfly
Today a beautiful iridescent turquoise dragonfly alighted on me in the garden. It was a magical moment and seemed connected to the faery realm. The dragonfly was quite young, I think.

Multi Dimensional Reality
The world as you know it - all that you see, taste, feel and touch, comprises only about 5% of all of the stuff of the universe. The other 95% is what we have considered "nothing" or the "firmament" or dark matter or the heavens or mystic Other Worlds. This 95% is multi-dimensional and consists of potential realities that may be perceived.
